I'm not reading this whole thread, what's the TLDR on why bitches do this? Is it because being touch-starved gives them brainrot? It's because being touch-starved gives them brainrot isn't it.

I think it's half of what Android Raptor says and half that some women love the idea of having a love interest that's a monster to everyone but them. They think that if they get into these relationships they'll be safe. It's kind of like the "I can change him" thing, but instead it's "I won't change him, but he won't hurt me because he loves me." Idk, I'm probably overthinking.

That's mostly the case. The fact that they are dangerous criminals that do horrible things but when they come home they find their safe place within the arms of their lover. They have this fantasy that since they are The Important One they have some kind of immunity to their urges and their love can make the bad thoughts go away, albeit temporally.
Many of those younger SK fangirls also liked to reblog shit from Tate Langdon from American Horror Story (for those who don't remember: he was the school shooter in the first season. The actor also played Jeffrey Dahmer in the Netflix series) with phrases like "don't fuck with the love of a sociopath guy and a suicidal girl. He would kill for her and she would die for him". It's a thirst for a very intense romance but in a sick, twisted way.
Ramirez had a surge of new fans because of American Horror Story too, he was a character in one of their seasons and played by an attractive actor. I'm not saying that representing those killers in media is the sole reason for this kind of madness but it has a hand in it.
I remember seeing interviews with Ted Bundy's girlfriend and how badly he affected her and her daughter's life, which still has consequences to this day. Those fangirls live in a world of fantasy that makes them believe they wouldn't be affected.

That’s the myth of Richard Kuklinski too. He played himself up as a vicious hitman at night and a devoted family man during the day but in reality he’d brutally beat his wife. People who take his stories at face value still hold him up as some great family man, same with Dennis Rader. These women don’t realize they won’t be safe, if they’re not victims too they’ll just be a cover who’s not really loved, just used to provide the facade of normalcy.

I mean, I’m a woman and this is one part of womanhood that confuses even me. We’re taught from a young age to be weary of creepy men, not write them in jail and edit flower crowns into their heads. My interest in true crime is “Wow, I can’t believe people can do such horrible things to each other, what makes a person do this?” not “I want to fuck Ted Bundy.”

EDIT:I thought about it a little more and I think it’s some twisted version of caveman brain. Like how girls are subconsciously drawn to date bigger or buff dudes on the off chance they get attacked one night and their knight in shining armor can protect them. Who’s going to protect you better than a guy who will hypothetically kill for you?

I guess maybe they think they wouldn't have gotten shot because they would have been the quirky alt girl rolling with the trench coat mafia and appealing to the boys. I'll say that there's a weird divide in that "Fanbase" where if you aren't a "fan" of both, you characterize one as an innocent, bullied babied who got pressganged into going along with the shooting by the other, so it might be a "I could have changed/saved." him type thing.

Kind of. They view them as bullied boys who were driven to the extreme by the abuse they suffered (when it's a fact that at least one of them was a bully). Some of them fantasize that if they were given the right kind of attention and love, things wouldn't have turned that way. Also, there are some that believe they would be included in their plans, likely commiting the massacre together.
With plenty of material made by them available, it's easier for those girls to at least have some kind of identification at first and then kind of falling for them, and having a fascination with other media that wasn't released (like the Basement Tapes). Also, they were teens too, so I see how easily the weird mentally ill girls can end up in this weird obsession over them.
This kind of fascination with serial killers/mass murderers almost always pairs with a fascination with gore and horror, so there's some detachment when they see pictures of the corpses and the harm they have done.
Well, at least that's what I observed from fangirls on Tumblr in my teens. Never actually had a conversation with them but would come across often. I am a fan of horror but this shit is utterly insane. But for them is some sort of escapism? I don't know. Human mind is one hell of a weird thing.
