It amazes me that the school's even there. After the San Ysidro massacre they demolished the McDonalds where it took place. And I believe they did the same after the Dunblane primary school massacre in the UK.

It's not only still there, it's still largely the same as it was when the massacre happened. The guy who made the video was walking around pointing out where shit happened. I think the only thing they did was cover up bullet holes, tear down the library, and put down fresh carpet where it was stained with blood.

I would say that it would be pretty weird having to go to school there knowing what happened, but I own a building that a guy committed suicide in and it never really even crosses my mind. The kids who are there now weren't even born when the massacre happened so it probably doesn't even phase them.

Still, Columbine is a more well-known piece of American history. I'm sure someone's died in every school. Hell, someone attempted suicide in my former middle school last week. I would imagine Columbine will always carry that burden, like the stage where the Las Vegas shooting was, or the field in Pennsylvania where Flight 93 went down.

I miss the days when women only wanted to marry the murderers who were behind bars. Now they're executive producers who make devious documentaries and podcasters who present a "series" with one-sided information. Their goal is to actually try and get these scumbags new trials so they can walk.

I'm out of the loop. Is that what's happening with the Menendez brothers? Because I heard one of the excuses was that they were being sexually abused and killed outta desperation.
But if that's the case... At the same time... Brenda Spencer shot at people at her window, she was CLEARLY being abused. Even worst than the Menendez brothers. To the point her father bought her the gun in hopes she'll kill herself- her father made her quit getting professional help. She had to sleep on the floor next to her father's empty beer bottles as the house was a mess. And yet she was still charged as an adult and is still serving time in prison today.
If abuse is an excuse, why isn't she getting support? She's more sympathetic and the abuse is concrete. I mean shittt bro. People older than her (adults) didn't get life in prison for murdering someone in cold blood. Two girls beat another girl to death for photobombing them and they weren't given life sentences.

Just saying. There's more cases that could be argued the people should be let free. I guess money gets you anything you want, huh.

NGL i've always found the Ramirez case kinda funny, what with was basically some random junkie managing to terrorize the whole Bay Area for over a year mainly due to pure dumb luck, and the Satanism angle playing perfectly into the prevailing moral panic of that time.

The only one funnier IMHO was Herberto de Seda, aka the New York Zodiac Copycat.

Ramirez was almost totally active in LA and has only been tied to one attack in SF, which happened like two weeks before he was apprehended.

Edit: And Dianne Feinstein compromised the investigation because she was and still is a stupid fucking cunt.
