I am not good at action games, so even if the combat is buttery smooth I'm still pretty ass at them, but I can still differentiate between something that controls well and something that doesn't.
I might've exaggerated how bad it is, it's not abysmal, but I do think it's fairly clunkier than I'd hoped it would be.

Og 1 theres 2 versions of yakuza 1 and 2 the ones released on the ps2 and the ones released on most current platforms A.K.A kiwami kiwami 1 is more like 0 but worse while kiwami 2 is based on the dragon engine and its somehow more clunkier than 1 with how heavy kiryu feels to control,OG 1 on ps2 is really clunky esp due to a problem the ps2 had where there was a bit of lag involved when any game was played ( this was esp true with fps titles on it with how floaty the controls were ) whereas two improves the combat immensely to the point some consider it to have the best combat in the series.
The character descriptions for Sega/Creative Assembly's new multiplayer hero-based microtransaction looter shooter "Hyenas" released, and they're as fucking awful as you'd imagine.

One of the pivotal main characters is this Drag Queen tranny who's real name is Sherman.
He also has a very obvious bulge, even in his gameplay model. Bravo Creative Assembly, good use of Sega's money.

And of course the only white guy in the game is a plain looking hillbilly techie named Dale.

Tl;DR - Earth gets split, billionaires escape to Mars, the poor victims of capitalism are stuck on a dying planet, the billionaires replace politics, art and religion with consumer culture and decide to come back to collect useless junk and pop culture merchandise (LIKE SONIC FIGURINES GUYS, REMEMBER, THIS IS A SEGA GAME! WE'RE NOT FORGETTABLE), and then our cast of diverse young heroes fight to steal their useless pop culture junk back from them.
An extremely childish metaphor for class struggle and capitalism. The writers are so fucking juvenile that two plot important events and locations are called "The Crack" and "The Taint". They even threw in the zoomerspeak usage of the word Clout in there to try and fit in with the kids.
Just so you know, this game is part of Sega's SUPER GAME initiative, meaning they spent millions of dollars on funding, marketing, and getting Creative Assembly to develop this looter shooter trend-hopping piece of shit that's gonna get shut down within 3 months of release.
And also remember, Creative Assembly hiked up the prices of Total War 3's DLC by 150% to push out this pile of crap.
They're wasting money on this while indie devs are busy reviving their old, long dead golden IPs and improving on them.
Anyways, I really do wonder if SEGA is just using CA as a sacrifice to boost their ESG credit. I know SEGA is pretty retarded, but they can't possibly be so retarded that CA convinced them to make this game and have it be the foundation of their SUPER GAME PROJECT, right?

Troons and zoomers on western twitter have spent the last 5 years crying for Persona 6 to be set in some city in America, have a cast of either college aged people or burnout wagies in their 30s, and have gay romance options and canonically gay and trans characters because they don't understand that Persona is a franchise specifically aimed towards Japanese teenagers (in Japan, Persona 3 and Persona 4 have an age rating of 12+, Persona 5 has an age rating of 15+). The 17+ M rating in America is only due to cultural differences in how Americans perceives violence and sexual content compared to Japan.
Sega of Japan is the only thing holding the current Sonic comics from having a canon lesbian protagonist OC couple because the comics apply to the games now. The head writer writes for the games now, so we'll see how that blockade fares.

Well, Atlas unfortunately has a bunch of those weirdos in their localization team. It's more or less why they had to retool that beach scene where gay men hit on underaged boys. Of course they made it worse in my eyes as they were forcibly dragging him away to be dressed in drag in the change. That said, if Hyenas bombs like it looks like it's gonna they might take the hint that woke is bad for business and no ESG credit rating can help them.
Of course that's fairly optimistic since Japan is slow to change and only now started adapting ESG into their shit. If it does happen, I hope it goes full on and they replace their localization team with some Koreans or Singaporeans, their English is pretty good these days and given how stupid the average localizer is - I've seriously seen an increasing amount of grammatical errors that 5th graders would know better, never mind changing important dialogue because they're too stupid to infer or ask someone if a scene is supposed to be a revelation of the character - it'd be a much cheaper change for roughly the same quality, I feel.
Yea, Birdo is pretty much the entire Mario universe equivalent to either Meg Griffin, Klaus Heissler, Zoidberg and Bill Dauterive. Except with these four, they are characters we sorta feel sorry for, while Birdo really deserves every bit of it.
