I've worked in situations like that and isn't that one of the things you make sure is correct and labeled BEFORE this starts?!‽?

Labels can be fine and the mixer can still just turn the wrong knob on the mix board anyway. Switchers for video and audio can goof on the direction they receive and you'll get an audio anomaly or a weird cut to something unrelated on screen or a camera person not ready with their frame/focus caught unaware they're about to get their feed sent to the main video feed.
