This is a nice surprise, the first game was great. Definitely picking it up, making it overworked instead of level selection based is interesting.
EDIT: they got the same guys back for the soundtrack again. That was the best part. Very excited now.

Doesn't this follow the plot of that new Netflix Scott Pilgrim that mostly stars Ramona? I don't know how "current year" could have possibly ruined Scott Pilgrim but they managed to find a way. At least Ubislop isn't involved in this one so you won't need a Uplay account.

Played it. The game was okay. There's not a ton of variety and the game holds your hand 95% of the time.
The soundtrack is really good though.

I’ve only played the demo, but I already like the combat better than the first game, and it goes even heavier into the River City Ransom similarities. I’ll get it after a price drop.
From what I played, it’s definitely implied to follow the show since the main cast and evil exes minus Gideon are all friends now, or at least tolerate each other. Scott is presented as the “main” playable character, but Ramona’s playable too like in the first game.
