Yeah I agree and everyone is right to call me dumb, I think I got my point a bit skewed.

Is Roblox a kids game or is it an adult game? I treat it as an adults game; I refuse to allow my children to play it.

One of the big things I think I was driving at was - obscene and offensive is free speech; we don't get to choose to not be offended. But we can choose to ignore Roblox and I generally hope more people do.

Even my normie coworkers were talking about how Roblox is full of pedos. Some of them have kids so it's nice knowing that at least some parents are aware of how bad that game has gotten.

Back in its early days, I never played it because I just thought it was a niche game with no appeal to anyone such as myself who had Minecraft, Angry Birds, etc.

Seeing the sex predator scandal come out about it now though? Makes me glad I never touched it and never will.
 
Reading this thread, it's rather disheartening that people are actively against a grooming victim taking action against the shitty company that willfully houses pedos and grooming rings and porn games meant to lure in minors.

I'm personally not surprised since this has been a thing since Ruben Sim and even before that. Ruben may have his controversies, yes, but Schlep has never had any so in a way, SDS sufferers make themselves look even worse, as much as they've been trying to paint his friendship with Ruben Sim as bad because it's pretty much all they have.

Someone was saying that this thread may very well generate lolcow spin-off threads in the same way Ruben Sim Derangement Syndrome did in its prime. Enough of these people are deranged that I truly believe it.

Calling out pedophile protectors does more to children than making PSAs in how to avoid pedophiles as a child. First of all thats the job of the parents to tell their children to not to interact with strangers online. But second, ideally there should be less, if not no pedophiles in children's games

I’m aware I’m late but pretty much my thoughts. Originally when I heard there was a Roblox category on XVideos my thought was “Wow that’s crazy that Roblox is that down the shitter that a porn site will genuinely consider it on par with “Rough””. But I wasn’t too concerned cause I assumed it was all SFM/Blender or drawings/animations, off platform stuff that makes me think “Gooner, but not pedophilic/dangerous”.

But instead XVideos is hosting recordings of people going IN GAME and doing this stuff, which is undeniably EPI. The way I see it, that’s formal cooperation with evil, XVideos is encouraging the creation of this stuff by rewarding it with views.

And by the way, who gets off to a chat??? Like, half of these are just recordings of people talking in the fucking side bar, and I’m supposed to fap to that??? :stress:

I wouldn’t consider this on par with there being a “Disney” section, since that’d just be weird and confusing, but not wrong as “Disney” is a studio rather than a place kid’s congregate. This is more like if XVideos had a “Club Penguin” section, or a “MovieStar Planet” section or a fucking “Poptropica” section. Insanity.
