You know what I do have to say and this is not there's no no s*** posting here I got to say that maybe my actual problem haven't gotten into this hobby is the over intellectualization of things I mean it really does the core of the infestation as other people like like people everybody I agree with most of the posts here but the core of the infestation is not trannies or sjws or any of that s*** it's the fact that it is a it is a hobby that attracts weak people morally weak inefficient you know they'll say nerdy types but at least nerd implies you know real intelligence like you know Bill Gates Stephen Hawking intelligent people but intelligent people most of these people aren't they're fake right there how do I put it they're not smart they're groomed to fake being reasonable and the other groomed to love reason and to think with reason and to be reasonable reasonable is the core of all these problems there's no love of anything other than people have said there's no love of adventure there's no love of experience there's no love of isolation I mean how many how many common totally again reasonable things are done just because it's communist s*** oh we got to split the XP split the party it's it's this is s*** that even supposedly quote unquote reasonable people would absolutely allow in permit there's no competition there's no excitement there's no real danger you know and and then if you include real danger you're an a****** you're a psychopath who who you know hyperlethal hardcore psycho your chaotic evil you're one of these nine stupid alignments amazing how dare you actually kill my character oh wait you you instituted a thing to make it you know less likely people die well why are you ruining the experience it's fake reason it's like it's not even fake reason I want to call it fake reason because the reasonable part of me wants to think of it like that but the truth is that the poison at the core of this hobby is the at the absolute how do I phrase this it is it is the absolute worship of reason and since and like realism it's the same s*** that's why shooters that's why shooter games sucked for 20 years is because call of duty modern warfare was pretty good and why don't for two really good but everything else had to be just brown gray s*** forever cuz it's realistic there's nothing realistic about your screen turning red and then coming back to life 5 seconds later but it has to be realistic but you know magic but then you can't I I don't I don't know I was thinking about this I was sort of doing some prep for new campaign and based on my what I would consider to be a real and visceral experience with a wealth of players that other people don't have other people that they'll talk about it they'll say things they'll read books but they're no gamers ultimately or they play the game 10 years ago or you know what I mean they don't they never they don't actually have the the experience of like running and finishing games inside of 6 to 8 months every year for 7 years interacting with hundreds of different players thousands I could eat on maybe even I was honest to say over a thousand at least 1,000 and then they just have this insane pretense this obsession with reason this this pure endless purity testing and it's something that I've tried to argue with people about and they don't see it the gatekeeping is is the problem you want to get everyone talks about gatekeeping you want to keep against trainees and this and that other thing but the gatekeeping is in fact being done by those people it it's I guess a great example would just be something like 4chan well there is no gatekeeping well you know you just get called a retard for no reason you'll get called a f**** for funsies the problem is is I guess the problem is that these people who fake reason who who fake sensibility who call for any form of gatekeeping and vetting are exactly the kinds of people who create the atmosphere in which these things can flourish there's no like I said yeah Fortune there is no when there is no filter when there is no vetting when there is no wall when there is nothing to control the environment the strong naturally rise the top of the week perish only the weak advocate for these things only the week who fake reason and fake sensibility will advocate for these things and these are not necessarily you know they'll say oh yeah sure I love Hitler but they they love they're more in love with their control and whatever permits them control they're all cynical and that's why they want control and that's why they want to be protected because they're weak they're fundamentally morally weak people and I don't know I was never really thought the kind of person who should have been in this hobby to begin with that I kind of fell into it by accident but the more and more I've done stuff with these people yeah the more I realize they are just weak and that's all what it comes down to it people say well you know this that the other thing the come up with reasons they'll respond with paragraphs I'm typing in without punctuation because I'm talking into my Google mind control master manipulator speaking speech to text device because I'm lazy and I want it I don't want to type anything on it cuz I hate this phone cuz I have huge man thumbs and I can't f****** press half these gas buttons but but yeah the problem is weakness the problem is is moral weakness physical weakness intellectual weakness masquerading as education and reason and fake sensibility and I think it's I think it's always going to be this bringing ground you see this happen with everything people talk about the infestation but you realize is that what it to use a good analogy weeds can only grow weeds will grow in any garden that they can but they can only be they have to be pruned the problem is not you know and people say well you know Gardener that's a gatekeeper right gatekeeping I love gatekeeping I need to gate keep I need to vet I need to gatekeep no no no no no no so it's not about the gardener it's about the roots it's about the strength of the plants themselves because most plants have a natural ability to defend against weeds or defend them off not all of them do but some of them do it's the problem is not the lack of a gardener the problem is weak plants who deserve to die who will not survive without the gardener that's the problem that's the core of it again everyone will advocate for the gardener but the gardener is unnecessary in the garden of heaven
