From reading your posts here it's obvious that you've simply come to moralize for self pleasure rather than out of any inherit goodwill. It's a cruel thing to drool such vitriol while calling for the censorship and silence of depressed people. The oozing smugness that drips from your false sense of legitimacy is an added annoying acidity. No one on The Farms is ever going to agree with de-platforming forums based on ones personal morals alone and no one outside of both forums is going to care about any of this beyond sucking the boot of power that wants to boot us all into the abyss.

Wanting to shut down a discussion forum of suicidally depressed people because they won't listen to your advice and cheer up is a really bad look, especially when they're already the approved target of powerful media and lawmakers. The power imbalance is so facially unfair that I don't think anybody needs to be depressed or suicidal to sympathise with them, because I'm certainly not and I still think that gunning for them is despicable and cruel.

This is on the same level as beating up the homeless and calling it a morally good act because it encourages them to not be homeless. This is not moral, or good. This is not 'suicide prevention'. You're doing it to feel big, and everyone can see it.
 
Because of all the drama with Stan I was like fuck it and I went to look at SS for the first time.

I know it's real people, but SOMETIMES the way they write seems like a self-parody and is kinda funny. "Anti suicide helplines are low-key useless" "We should probably try gatekeeping suicide"

But other parts of the site are more sobering and interesting tbf. Their technical "expertise" and lingo is also pretty interesting. TIL the suicide method of VSED (voluntarily stopping eating and drinking) which apparently is not effective.

Another thing I learned while reading more of the forum is the palpable fear of failing in their suicide attempt and having to deal with more pain/dying painfully.

The discussions sometimes get ridiculous. A dude suggested that a 9mm to the head, plus drowning would do the job because the OP was scared of missing his heart with a 9mm.

All that also hammers home that they don't actually want to die, they're scared of it and look for convenient methods as to remove themselves as far from the "dying experience" as possible, which then ends up with ever more horrifying and failure prone ideas for "methods". Lovely and still absolutely ridiculous. Ty for going there and the overview.

Honestly, this alone makes her better than 90% of journalists (that isn't a high bar).
