Alleged poison seller reportedly associated with SanctionedSuicide was charged with 14 counts of second degree murder a few days ago. This is in addition to prior charges of aiding suicide. They said in public that new evidence came in recently elevating the case to a murder trial.

Selling substances that can be used for suicide when you know the purchaser is in fact likely to use it for that: very possibly mega-illegal and at least in the view of these prosecutors, outright murder
My initial opinion (and only assuming the prosecutors are acting above the board here) is that this guy is fucked. This is seriously line-crossing behavior.

Any victim of Kenneth Law, anyone who believes they have evidence, or anyone who believes they have a proper witness account of SaSu forum staff facilitating over a dozen alleged murders should contact Peel Police IMHO. I assume they will be taking evidence from this general subject indefinitely given the alleged scope, and regardless of the outcome of the trial of this particular individual. But if in possession of good evidence related to this particular trial, probably better sooner rather than later.

Sodium nitrite was meant for "controlling feral pigs", not for anything involving human suicidals because of how painful and protracted it is. Over half the people who posted goodbye threads while you admit-you-ran-it used sodium nitrite. Over half. Over half during 2021 and before. And that is assuming that you even left, which no proof has been given, and I've only seen counter-evidence, like you literally being the registrant this year. Sodium nitrite was not even close to a common method on the prior subreddit. It's extremely unlikely people just have a sudden self-autonomous desire to use meat curing salts rather than the usual drugs when they just happened to use your server.
Drugs-for-suicide period are only for immobile people. Drugs are a horrible thing to promote as a suicide method except in extreme edge cases. From this alone, the Small/Galante version of Sanctioned Suicide is much darker than the surface label and much more sketchy. Seems Philip Nitschke agrees with some of this all his takedown requests. Did he do the same to the Usenet one? Doubt it.

I can't take them down, anyone can hook up an ethernet cable and do whatever, censorship campaigns are a waste of time unless someone is breaking the law, and only LEO can handle that. You do know that SN was the method of choice promoted in a book that is readily available on Amazon? The forum discusses the book itself and that's where the method originated from. The book is free to purchase for all and there's no vetting done there. There are also countless other books out there that have suicide methods in them, do you want them banned too?
It's very hard to pin this issue on the forum itself, when members are just using our forum to discuss it.
As for me leaving, I resigned and left the forum in 2021, yet it's almost 2024 and you're still claiming that I run it and that I somehow need to prove that I don't. That's not how that works.
