I know this is like 2 years late and maybe someone already answered, but iirc sam and charls had a bit of a falling out about world peace being cancelled. While I'd like to see them get back together and keep makin funny stuff, I can't really say I blame charls considering sam single handedly ruined their chance to strike big in the industry.

Following MDE over the years has been a weird emotional rollercoaster. I think all the politics and 4chan pandering sam does is pretty gay, and time and time again he's repeatedly fucked up and done sketchy shit that almost seems like he's purposefully shitting on his fans or trying to alienate them, but MDE's brand of humor is so off the wall and unique that it's hard not to feel bad for them.

World Peace getting cancelled still feels like a fresh wound in a weird way. It wasn't perfect by any means but it's so rare to find anything comedic on TV that tries to take risks and be it's own thing. It's really what solidified my belief that streaming services like Netflix and YouTube are the way of the future, everything on TV is so fucking bad that a show by Sam Hyde of all people getting cancelled was a serious bummer.

I remember reading somewhere that Sam fucked Chuck out of the money from their book. In any case, neither Sam nor Charls will talk about it, which is pretty suspect considering they'd been tight for such a long time.

It's almost like Sam has some kind of idiot savant type of situation going on where the price of being such a unique and funny character is that he is also doomed to be maladjusted, gross faggot who has to constantly alienate the people around him. I don't even completely buy the accusations that he's a pedo or a tranny chaser or whatever, but nobody who's interacted with the guy has anything good to say about him.

It's a shame really because I wanted to like the post-WP content, but frankly it sucks. Sam's hiding behind a paywall now and putting out like one video a month that's just him driving around rambling about bullshit and using his beard as an ashtray. Charls is a schizo twitch streamer, and Nick's just off flipping houses or whatever.

Oh yeah and that Frank Hassle guy is a fucking loser. When old MDE pulled street pranks there was actually a funny premise behind it. Frank is an autistic Sam wannabee who thinks that bothering random people is peak comedy.

Frank Hassle is a cool dude. I don't exactly care for some of his IRL stuff either, but his online stuff is gold. The people he finds online are actually worthy of ridicule most of the time. I understand people's problem with him though. The Sam Hyde wannabe shit is retarded. He started out with his own Twitch trolling stuff, and it was Sam who asked him if he'd go IRL. He's not trying to be anyone.
