I’d be down with this if the result wasn’t fuck ugly. It feels like he’s intentionally spiting the decade-old nipple discourse. Or he’s just gone blind gooning over his creations and doesn’t realize how absurd Flax looks.

Sam’s got all the variation of the animal kingdom to inspire from but he can’t resist making emo wolves.

Dalton, Butika, Ripper, Rodger, Wyley, Saxxon, and now Flax. Yes I’ve read this book too much.

Butika (originally a Nargacuga-looking bird kiv) had great commissioned concept art and Sam scrapped all that to make her an obese red-eyed wolf.

So much wasted potential.

I have seen a lot of concepts and fan interpretations of other kivs and they often look 1000% better than what Fennah put out.
There are two dinosaur characters in the book, and Fennah made some models of them
they looks, nothing like the concepts. He really needs to look into proper animal anatomy
