Aparently, back when I was saying this was made by Mataboo, I was only half right and half wrong (?), it looks like while some stuff was made by Mataboo, it was largely made by a studio called FragLabs that is only known as a support studios and has only ever really made one game, a mobile game...
Here is the reddit thread detailing this, and if you don't want to wade thru reddit, I'll post the image here. Also looking thru Frag Lab's Linkdln page, it does feature GSC Game World, so it´s pretty likely,

I love these comments by the forum mod. GSC purposely politicized STALKER, but when the community voices their opinion they're shut down.

I also find it curious that some of the older threads were closed by Valve employees. They probably had no intention of moderating the forums until Valve demanded them to do something about it.

Free2play slop is pretty terrible. I avoid all free2play games.

I see a lot of STALKER fanboys using the war in Ukraine as an excuse for STALKER 2. I guess they just extended that to the enhanced versions of the first 3 games.
 
They put out a new patch for the enhanced editions the other day. It's version 1.02 and it says they are working on the first round of fixes for the blurry issue. I installed SoC and I did what they said (use the medium preset click apply then use the maximum preset apply and restart the game) and I didn't notice much of a difference. I just used what other people recommended I turned the AA off or at least to FXAA I disabled the global illumination and used SSAO/HBAO enabled FSR and the FSR sharpness and set the slider to max. This nearly fixes the blur issue and makes it nearly as sharp as the original.

I started playing the Enhanced version of SoC and the original version. The enhanced version crashes a lot. It must have crashed like 3-4 times in a half an hour of play time. The game locks up and the only thing that works is the audio. I have to alt tab back to the desktop and close it with Steam and start the game back up. It's really annoying. Also, some of text dialogue in game seems to be screwed up. Like reading it made no sense. It seems like a translation or AI problem.

There is this one job you can do for Sidorovich where he wants you to kill these mutants in a certain area of the Cordon rookie village area. It's those blind dogs over near the railroad tunnel with the electric anomaly one of them is greenish grey color. In the original the text description of the job says agents. In the enhanced version it says homies. What the fuck? Is this STALKER SoC for the new generation like Pepsi? By new generation I mean Zoomer wiggers. It's an absolutely stupid change. They also have the word bro in one of text dialogues from Sidorovich. It's totally fucking stupid.
 
Fuckin enable being able to turn off RTX you slavic shits, why do I need to slow my machine to a crawl because it has to process like 50 fucking shadows in a warehouse.

Just because I can run RTX, doesn't mean I want to.

Mandatory RTX in DooM: The Dark Ages and now this? Absolutely baffling. Doubly so with STALKER Enhanced because it's pushing such an old-ass trilogy out of the playability bracket for weaker/more dated machines.

Doom dark ages I forgive, because apparently IDsoft made a whole ass new engine that can implement RTX with little to no FPS issue.

But GSG isnt id, they dont have access to technocrat god king john carmacks research notes.

I can confirm. Not only does it run a lot better but it also looks better too with FSR enabled.

ID truly is back.

But yeah, nobody is like id, which is why I want the option to disable RTX, stalker 2 looks beautiful already
