I'm surprised he didn't start blaming the editors for being in bed with GamerGate or Donald Trump.
 
Well we're seeing shades of "arguments about translations" and "personal attacks on other editors" so it might not be long before we reach the "claims ownership of pages" stage of Ryulong drama.

It's funny because he was extremely anal about enforcing that rule on Wikipedia.

After a bit of study of his autism, he seems to be one of those wiki spergs who tailors his obsession to the rules of the wiki.

In fact, Ryulong is a rules lawyer, muck like fellow lunatic Mark Bernstein, and both tend to adapt their autism to whatever the rules of the wiki are, which they will bend, warp, and twist to their advantage, which, in Ryulong's case on Wikipedia, was frequent abuse of the NPOV and reliable sources rules to freeze the GamerGate article into his preferred version. On the Jojo wiki, which isn't as strict, he's trying to find loopholes to still get his way, hence his incredulous reaction to being told speculation cannot trump facts.

However, both have a fatal flaw that makes this hard to keep up. Mark is a zealot who believes he's right and tends to not be able to restrain his inner fruitcake in order to win people over. Ryulong, on the other hand, tends to have issues with keeping his cool and becomes an abusive, dick swinging asshole when he encounters stiff resistance.
 
I find double dragon's autism to be amazing, personally. He isolates himself from every single community he touches, and manages to do nothing - absolutely nothing - but piss people off.

He's like the ISIS of wiki editors.

What makes it even better is that he's banned people from wikipedia for doing exactly what he just did.

Funny thing is that jp is just as wrong as jap, since the ISO 639 language codes for the Japanese language are ja and jpn. Not that any of this matters on a toy wiki of this scale of course...

Nah. It's not Wikipedia, so Wikipedia rules don't apply. For example whenever someone on RW tried to call Ryulong to order by pointing out that reverting edits more than three times in a row − a rule on WP, but a matter of etiquette on RW− is probably not a good idea, he would whine about RationalWiki not being Wikipedia and that it has different rules.

If somebody feels like genuinely being helpful instead of just laughing at Dlagon Dlagon, they should go and suggest a standard set of rules or a standard process that prevents this issue from coming up. It would be trivial to fix and would permanently shut him down, at least with this issue on this wiki.

By the way, does anybody know why he fixates on the whole l/r issue in the titles of Japanese works so hard? That specific thing keeps coming up over and over again. This goes beyond mere autism. Was he touched as a child by a bad fan translator?

It's not that he's particularly fixated on it, per se, just that it's the most common and obvious mistake of his shitty Japanese, so the one he has to work hardest to protect. Dragondragon is convinced that he's a master of the grorious Nippon ranguage, and will fight to the bitter end against any evidence that suggests otherwise. He was told in no uncertain terms to fuck off when he tried to edit actual Japanese wikis because his command of the language in general was so terrible.
 
So if a bunch of people on twitter say he's a dumbfuck will he believe that to be fact too?
