It's almost like they're incredibly stupid, ignorant even when the information they want about something that is apparently scaring them is open and available, and just in general have no clue whatsoever and are running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

I'm excited about the newest character in this soap opera, Federal Agent Son. The sooner we can get Federal Agent Son playing an active part in this, the better.

Mona is the most amusing of all. A woman in her mid fifties who claims to adore privacy yet left all her private info in broad daylight is crying because we are repeating that info here, laughing at her pissing her panties over us laughing at their fail, and the worst thing we've actually done so far is accuse them of whiteknighting pedophiles (which is true).

And she's still crying and fearing the worst.

They adopt a neutral tone for most of it, veering into contempt for 8chan for the most part and accusing them of being a pedophile den (and twisting Brennan's words, mere discussion of pedophilia is not a crime, actual plans to share child porn, where to find it, or molest children is). They also take the opportunity to bash Christians a little.

Those parts aside, it reads like they are trying to appear as neutral as possible without any outright condemnation of pedophiles without trying to sound like they outright endorse them either.

It reads like careful doubletalk that only bashes communities they hate, more or less.

Yeah, you're right. The "Boy-King Jimbo" jab right at the start pushed me to thinking they're salty about pedos being banned from Wiki, but in fairness that's probably some snarky injoke they have since most of them are speds who've been banned from Wiki for being too autistic.

It is only a matter of time before they call us pedos too in order to defend themselves. You know to hide the fact that they are pedo enablers and protectors...

Naturally but some level of self-awareness would be nice, they manage to be nicer about people who think they're magic animals than people who think free market economics is a viable economic model on a sight which is apparently dedicated to rationalism

Ideologs and self awareness seldom meet because everything needs to prop up the ideology and if it contridicts they can't acknowledge it unless they patch up their frankenstein beliefs to circumvent it.

Doesn't matter if it's dead we'll just sew on something new and reanimate it.
 
I think you're right one of the best moves I made when I was a teen in college was actually interacting with Conservatives on one of the smaller right wing forums since it forced me to analyze my own beliefs and interact with them on a more familial level. It also made me aware of negative trends in political groups and how they develop. It really vaccinated me against the idea I'm infallible and have all the answers. I can only imagine the damage thinking like that through your teen years does. Rational wiki are 14 years olds who never noticed Communism was a humanitarian disaster and never got over the shock america/uk/wherever is just a country like any other.
