Yeah I wound up just googling it.

Judging by the reactions I'm getting, I apparently made a few people butthurt by calling out this terminally online turbo autist behavior. Behavior which I've bitched about before, actually.
Nobody's butthurt you spastic, we're all just bemused because you don't even know how to look acronyms up in a search engine despite having a 5yo account here. Even somebody's 108yo grandpa who lived through five depressions and three world wars would be able to use Google-fu to parse such mystery phrases within a week.

Episode 4 update: I've gotten fed up with Ange's bullshit and returned to the Animesuki threads to mine some salt

As such I've been reminded that the episode 8 manga included:
- A direct solution/confession where none was ever supposed to be given
- Ikuko finding said solution in a bottle right alongside Battler, meaning she had it this whole fucking time and we just never knew about it, nice retcon
- Yasu writing episodes 3 and 4 fucking somehow
- Yasu specifically saying she'll "kill off" Shannon or Kanon early on to make things easier on her but no mention of how in ep1 Natsuhi was supposed to die in Shannon's place
- And of course a whole bunch of fucking abloobloobloo sob story fucking bullshit about how Yasu is the most saddest piece of shit ever and we should feel sowwy for her even as she plots to legitmately kill her entire fucking family including those she supposedly loves.

I might hate the Angechrist but I hate the Shkanonchrist even more

New Meguri chapter. Is it just me or are we getting some derpy faces from Rika?
I'd have to agree lol

Continuing with episode 4 and jesus fucking christ this is goddamn fucking awful dogshit. We get like half an hour of the adults on the island arguing about money, nothing we haven't seen before, nothing is accomplished, and then we get dragged away by Ange to go see her whine at imaginary Maria again about some fucking bullshit. Our magnificent author sees it fit to just absolutely violently shove the DID YUO KNOW TRUTH IS DUBJECTIVE AND YUR APPINION CHANGES YOUR VIEW HURR DURR DURR message down the audience's fucking throats, but despite the truth being subjective he simultaneously forces the message that Maria's positive view of things is the "correct" way to see it no matter how delusional she is (but it's also fucking hilarious to have Ange being a retard and absolutely reeeeing at Maria when she's only slightly embellishing events). But I guess the guy who forces a message about subtlety so fucking hard would be incapable of actually being subtle.
I hate the Angechrist and I hate the Shkanonchrist but I think I hate the Ryukishichrist most of all.
The fact that episodes 1 and 2 were... well, I wouldn't say they were masterpieces but they sure weren't this shit, makes me think this is the result of him scrapping Land and now he's just manufacturing a bunch of bloated bullshit to fill time. So the best you could say about this dogshit is that it's just meaningless filler.

Also geez she was an asshole to that professor guy. Basically just mocking him for not having Maria's diary when Ange only has it because she's family, not because she's special or put in any effort to get it. Fuck this bitch man

Also also the whole welfare officer sequence is unintentionally hilarious. She just keeps popping back in while Rosa and Maria fucking scream at each other. Also also also, why did we need both the dead Chiester and Sakutaro? They even both die in the same scene. What was the point of having two of them?

I got fed up with episode 4's bullshit and went to check out episode 7's opening on a whim and holy fucking shit is this just fucking garbage. It's just so fractally bad

- Will is just a mouthpiece for Ryukishi's retarded diatribe about love or whatever
- The person Will is based on had basically the exact opposite beliefs, making Ryukishi using him as a mouthpiece even more heinous
- Said diatribe is just a desperate flailing cope over the fact that no one's buying his bullshit. Nobody ever failed to understand the culprit of Umineko because they ignored motives or love or whatever the fuck; they hate it exactly because they understand it, because it's shit.
- Said diatribe is wildly ill-informed; it seems to be implying that the entirely of the murder mystery genre is nothing but cold logic (never mind that his strawman in this moment is being completely illogical and retarded because that's what his diatribe needs)

How do I even describe this? Is it "you don't understand, my culprit has MOTIVE and that makes it all okay!!"? Is it "my culprit has a motive, no one else ever has those!!"? It is "you don't understand my GENIUS WRITING because you're too stupid to have love"?? It's brainmeltingly bad.

Anyway,

At least he's not bragging about it, I guess.

Oh fuck off. And keep Alice and the Pirates' name out of your filthy mouth too, you hack fraud.

It's especially wrong if you read Agatha Christie novels since a lot of them are more of a drama and a lot of times you can find the culprit based on actions and mentality rather than a specific collection of clues.

The whole "cold logic" is a meme and even the genre establishing Sherlock Holmes novels gave half the book to explaining the murderer's past and reasons.

Which is extra extra funny given that Umineko is so heavily inspired by And Then There Were None, you know, literally Agatha Christie.

Thinking about it more, the detective genre was always heavily reliant on characters and drama. Only autists would read a detective novel and focus solely on what happened and ignore the story of character relations.

Well, the actual Van Dine might have been that sort of autist going by his rules and what I've seen said about him. But still, he's not every author, and even his own damned rules leave room for if not outright imply a motive, via a rule requiring a "worthwhile" culprit. Someone who just does shit for no reason to provide the audience with a logic puzzle doesn't seem very worthwhile to me. There's a quote from Ryukishi about how "uhhh Van Dine rules destroy the culprit's motive so I had to destroy them in my own work tee hee" which sounds more like "my shoddy work wouldn't stand up under those rules so I'll pretend I'm above them". What a shitshow.

So now we have to deal with two parasites in Reiwa.

So what do you think would have happened in Cicconia 2 if it ever releases? The game pretty much ended on total global annihilation and half the cast dead. I guess the main protagonist would found a way to go back in time and tried to suss out who sold them out.

In general the whole power armor is just... weird. Like the game starts with describing it as massive death trap that is relegated to children. And afterwards it's described as being hilariously broken piece of tech that basically turns you into a demigod.
