Not only that, but any actual criticism is written off as coming from “haters” or “the hatedom”. Seriously, go to RTX or any other panel and see how they want fans to treat them with kid gloves and any actual criticism is ignored as not coming from “real fans”.
IT'S A CARTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

These people seriously can't handle the slightest bit of criticism

The whole idea of only valuing what other professionals say and refusing to listen to your actual consumers when they criticize your work is ridiculous since you're writing for your consumers. And honestly it's just an attempt from Miles to silence criticism by telling anyone who says his writing is flawed that they're idiots who don't know what they're talking about. Rich coming from the glorified intern who became a writer for the show by being thrown at RWBY when Monty wanted other writers. He acts like he's so high and mighty when he can't even write a single coherent story. Yeah you're gonna have to sift through the criticisms to see what's legit or not but that comes with being a writer.

I just realized it, but Miles pulled a Butch Hartman.

If ya don't know, about a year or so ago, Butch Hartman (creator of stuff like Danny Phantom, Fairly Oddparents, etc) did a livestream where he basically said the exact same thing - That criticism is only important by people who are in the same field.

I think we need some stupid fun here.

Although, it does make me wonder why Robyn hasn't been arrested.

Like the real person she's based on (Not Robin Hood, Hilary Clinton with a RH spiel) the possibility of Robyn being arrested is very low, at best she could be pardoned by the Council for her crimes against Atlas and at worst she becomes the newest member of said Council despite being a vigilante who wasn't above the law to steal.

The writers obsession with this cunt is truly sad as fuck, there's nothing good about her in the slightest besides not being Jacques (Trump) Schnee and that's it;Robyn isn't charismatic enough to excuse her behavior, her design ain't too good, and the only decent aspect of her is her VA'S performance but truly there is nothing.

Imagine time spent on exploring Atlas and the hyped up Nora backstory, that was instead wasted and shat out on the 2016 Election that no one outside of the USA (And probably Canada) gives a single fuck about besides these leftist losers.

This is why we need more outrage like Volume 5 got.

I don't think it's been posted here.

And while he whines and throws a hissy fit when he's criticized the reason the criticism against his bad writing got the point where people were just insulting him was because he ignored criticism and fired back in the first place. He created a hostile situation then whined that people were big meanie faces. He hasn't actually listened to any criticism and attacks people who dare say his writing is anything but flawless. And RT is a complete hugbox so no one there will criticize his work.

To be fair no one in RT was ever good at taking criticism

This may be :optimistic:, but the whole Trump/Hillary thing may just be cynicism talking, at least for me, knowing how lacking in subtlety RWBY is, and I can see Jacques being Trump, but the Hillary part may be a stretch that we have to wait to hear about when they do commentary on the DVD. I do agree that Robyn lacks charisma. Also, Guess they had to give Christina Vee something. And finally, nothing will ever match V5's levels of suck, even if you take away Gray screwing RWBY.

You know what's funny about that tweet? You take away the part about Barb and you got RWBY defenders taking Monty's tweet out of context and use it as a way to show Monty telling the haters to fuck off. I see it on Discord a lot.

Oh yeah I remember that now.

And this reminds me of another point I forgot to mention. Just because someone is a professional writer doesn't mean they actually know what they're talking about. Miles Luna is a professional writer. Rian Johnson is a professional writer. Stephanie Meyer is a professional writer. And just because someone is a fan doesn't mean that they don't know what they're talking about. I've seen really good fanfiction that had good writing made by fans who have no "proper" credentials but know how to write. That elitist attitude of claiming someone needs to be a professional with established works in order to criticize writing is nothing more than gatekeeping and a method of shutting out normal people from being able to say something.

I'll at least give him that he's defending someone else and not himself. But Monty shouldn't have said anything about that especially since it's just a random person who said something on one of those confession blogs. You can find all sorts of random opinions on those.

Not sure if this was posted, but RT made a video of all the shit they have planned for 2020. https://youtube.com/watch?v=8XVFW26WAaQ

Meh, I think they're kinda pushing it with the new shows - And honestly, I think the new animation stuff is... fine... But It feels like they just outright dropped shows that people liked.

Also RWBY volume 8? Uh... Well, I guess they're just rushing through that as well.

God, and people say that Gamefreak rush pokemon titles, they got nothing on the RT RWBY Crew.

I'm a little surprised they didn't include Season 2 of Gen;LOCK or the upcoming Transformers series in there. I'm wondering if it's because those shows are being released elsewhere.

I can almost guarantee it's because those shows are airing elsewhere. Dont let your consumers know product can be consumed elsewhere.

If that's the case, then they should probably take RWBY off of YouTube and Netflix then.
For a while, RWBY wasnt on YouTube because they kept get demonitized. Even then, it's not on their main channel it's on a side channel with 1/10 the subs. I also havent seen it on netflix since season 3 (but that could be because of my region).

Meant more altogether, part because if RT want to be greedy, they might as well not halfass it, part because YouTube's fucktarded COPPA AI.
