Adel Aka talked about some of the issues with how they handled the Renora kiss.

I agree with his stance on Renora, but his point on the partial rehashing of Volume 3 he touches on briefly (But with more Trump and less Cinder) is spot on.

Don’t really care about the concept of Maidens, but can Miles and Kerry feel bothered to make one who isn’t about to die (Amber, and Fria) or a terribly written character (Raven)? Like the only credible thing I give for Fria is her age, but she's still doing what Amber did for someone we don’t know that’s gonna die...Yeah, we definitely don’t need anyone else to bloat this cast further than we got currently; but can we be given a reason why a single shit must be given for these Sacrifical Lambs?

And, of course, people hate those who preach against their lord and savior RWBY.

"If you don't like Bumblebee, you're a misogynist!"

God, the comments on this one are cancer. "I hope they keep making RWBY shitty so misogynists abandon the series and stop making it worse." Shows having a hard time attracting a new crowd, it's not business wise to shrink that crowd intentionally. Pandering to a niche section of your market will not net you enough money to make up for the rest of your market you told to fuck off.

Amazing. Every word they said was wrong.

Yeah that's something that's really bothering me. They're blatantly rehashing the plot of Volume 3, which was already garbage, but making it worse. Someone getting framed for attacking someone else and it's used to cause panic that causes Grimm to attack. We've literally seen this song and dance before. And they're doing nothing else that's vaguely interesting with it. And yeah the cast is already bloated even after they culled a massive amount of characters when Volume 4 started, and they still keep introducing more useless characters. Amber had, what, ONE line of dialogue? We learned nothing about her. I heard people suggest that the Aura transfer with her should have succeeded and Amber would live on in Pyrrha's head (kinda like Nail and Kami in Piccolo's head in DBZ Abridged) so that would provide a more interesting story and a way Amber would actually get to be a character advising Pyrrha on being a Maiden. A much better idea than whatever the Galaxy Brained Duo came up with. But their problem is that they just think that we'll care about any character they throw in just cause. It's peak laziness.

I actually think the Renora kiss was an important positive event to round out an otherwise very bleak episode.
For Hillary supporters especially. Imagine reliving the worst election of your life in a literal Saturday morning cartoon.

I just had an aneurysm reading that. The "I never mentioned Bumblebee!" doesn't work when you literally have the bee emoji in your Twitter name which is popular among the wasps. Like this is "Everyone I don't like is Hitler" levels of idiocy. Anyone who doesn't like how Adam is written is an abuse apologist because.... that's the only reason you couldn't like it? It couldn't possibly be because people felt his potential was wasted.

But the cherry on top has to be her saying "RT said pandering doesn't happen so it doesn't happen" as if RT saying something automatically makes it true.

This episode was actually... okay, if you ask me. We got something resembling Tyrian and Watts backstory, Yang and Blake actually did what I wanted and mentioned the A-word, if not actually DIRECTLY doing so, and Ironwood's continuing to do nothing wrong. I'm gonna be optimistic and say that this episode is on a slight upward climb from what we've seen previously. I liked it.

Fun fact, this person got so pissed at a Jew who liked Black Sun that she mass reported their accounts and tried to remove them from Tumblr, all while calling them a Nazi.

Dare I say it, I thought it was good too. The fight was short but decently done and Ironwood continues to be cool beans.

Wait, is there any pics, or archive or something? I wanna see if it's true.

So what’s happened in the past 4 episodes? I’ve lost track

Mostly:

-Ironwood is in the process of getting the Amity Colosseum up in the air to establish communications in Remnant, but he’s doing so by using supplies Mantle needs.

-Robyn Hill (The dumbest iteration based on Robin Hood, ever) is trying become a councilor against Donald Trump Jacques Schnee and the latter makes a deal with Watts to win the election.

-The election comes and thanks to the Tyrian / Watts combo, they fuck up a celebration party for Robyn’s totally certain victory~ Watts does something that ACTUALLY makes the bad guys win, by killing the powers and letting Tyrian kill supporters of Robyn’s with Penny (Alongside Ruby, Marrow, Ren, and Nora) being at said party since the incident start. Basically, Volume 3 is rehashed with Penny being framed for killing those supporters and all that shit.

Here.

That person then helped mass-report the accounts belonging to Owl.
"She's an absolutely awful person" Bitch, what? I've personally interacted with Owl and she's legit one of the most levelheaded people in the fandom and is overall quite pleasant to talk to. There's nothing "awful" about her.

This wasp is just salty that someone is vocally and legitimately criticising their precious yuribait show and that they're getting a decent amount of attention from it. That's the only reason they're throwing this fit.

Even after this week's epsiode I still maintain this plot is pretty weak. Apparently Watts' plan was to doctor footage of Penny attacking people at the event? Did any eyewittnesses actually see it though? You wouldn't have to doctor the footage if you just hacked her directly...

My main problem now is that we're playing pretty fast and loose with the concept of Semblances now, to the point where it's straining my suspension of disbelief. Isn't it just convenient that Robyn Hill happens to have a lie detecting Semblance right when she needs it? Why doesn't she ever mention that in her campaign speeches to lend herself some political brownie points? Let's not even mention that Robyn conveniently has two people on her team, one who can create cloaking shields that block noise and another who can store an entire truck in some kind of pocket dimension? Hell, Wags has a Semblance that can control time to a limited degree so what's next? A Sembalnce that controls gravity so you can slingshot people into space or crush them into little smears of jelly?

Ever since Jaun's Semblance reveal, Semblances have become an easy out for the writer's to fix a solution they've written themselves into. Does everyone have a Semblance or is it just Hunters and Huntresses? Are civilians with unchecked, powerful Semblances a problem in Remnant? Will RWBY ever address these questions or treat them like they don't exist? Find out never...

I can only think of them being waifu bait, MILF material to be lewded, or some high VA they got that they HAVE to use no matter what to et their money's worth like Monica Rial as Sienna Khan.

Leftists think they exist in a bubble and is the quality programming for their supposed utopia. And entertainment is probably the easiest avenue for SJWs to double down. That's why we have things like Marvel constantly cancelling and rebooting comics, and ABC firing Roseanne Barr and restructuring the Roseanne revival to be a new spinoff show called The Conners.

My theory on the bloated main cast (or the high number of characters in the group shot in the OP) is that they're there to die. In the event that you need shock value or a body to showcase how high the stakes are, you got characters prominent enough to show things are dangerous. You may say this is plot armor for the mains or a way to keep the main characters going through things unscathed, but by making them featured a lot and in the OP, you can convine people that it's neither of those things.

The Maidens would've been better if there were no Relics and instead they were consolidated into the Maidens. Like making the Winter Maiden have the Knowledge Relic's magical knowing.

I'll put onto what you said by pointing out that the kitchen sink abilities of semblances (see Weiss having more or less necromancy) makes the whole "Maidens and Ozpin can do legit magic" schtick fall apart since we still don't have a solid answer on what's the hard line between actual magic and semblances like Robyn's.
