This is so dumb. So first of all how do these petitioners even make it to the literal king with such petty squabbles? He's the king, he has more important things to worry about then fences and some peasant's forbidden love. Second of all, the king ain't so wise if he lives in a world of magic and the shadiest looking motherfucker who ever lived hands him an obviously cursed artifact and he just plops it on his brow. Thirdly, yes bitch, he should be very worried about the distant future. Monarchies are like that since he's gonna rule until he's dead or deposed, and he needs to leave the country in a good state for his heir. This isn't some limp dick democracy where he can just fuck around for less than a decade doing nothing and then sabotage his successor since he's made his money and now he doesn't need to care about the land or it's people.

Well, I think the Yang one looks kind of nice, but the boat has sailed on me ever supporting these degenerates again.

The Ruby one on the other hand looks like eye cancer.

It's not. It displays a clear lack of understanding about the basics of graphic design.

It's bright, saturated color on bright, saturated color separated by bright pale coloring. It hurts to look at.

This isn't much better, but here.

Desaturate the red, saturate the yellow to a deeper yellow, make the blue shading darker. The combination of the deeper yellow on the desaturated red makes the focal point pop more and the darker blue highlights the outline of the actual character.
