The mask is slipping. Mods are now openly admitting that the site is dying, and are blaming the users for it while threadbanning the guy who pointed out that their random acts of moderation weren't helping the place.

I would love it if our little community was exempt from capitalism.

You fucking faggot, your entire "community" is based on the worship of consoomer products. You think North Korea produces RPGs?

Zeea and his wife Arachne

Arachne is a dude, right?

No, Arachne is a real woman. Zeea is a troon.
Now I'm going to have to go back and look because I could have sworn they were both trans, Arachne just transitioned earlier and in a different country.

The dumbass was paying actual real money to keep the site afloat, so I think it's obvious from the get-go that he wasn't viewing it as a revenue stream. If someone ran up to me desperate to sell that site, I'd pay $100 as long as they changed the passwords for any account with mod privileges first. With the insane mod staff no longer sabotaging the place, the site might be able to actually go somewhere profitable.

Paying to keep the site running for the benefit of ~140 members BTW.

Bot or just hauntingly autistic?

Ok, actual rpg.net content:
Thread on how to improve the forums. Whole thread is worth a read and it's not in Tangency so you don't have to log in to view. My favorite part is when they started coping about slow posting speed promoting more thoughtful posting.

Overall thread vibe is very much "everything's fine, survivorship fallacy, ignore the dust accumulating on the bottom of page 1".

Truly, it is a mystery that may never be solved.

Also, LOL at a bunch of autistic genderhipsters having issues with communication and the thread getting locked because people were criticizing the mods.

You could use half of those posts as precise examples of what has happened to Rpg.net and why it will never recover.

They've hit that point in the purity spiral where the more people can't stand them, the more this confirms that they are truly God's elect.

Clearly the only people who embrace the wrongthink or briefly unpopular words that gets you immediately banned there are all chuds and Nazis, so it would be unthinkable that such people would have anything to contribute with their presence. The forum going down in flames is far preferable to letting THOSE people back in.
