@Bassomatic , is Vanguard likely to sue the idiot Roy over his claims, or take some other action against him? I assume not, but given his constant threats to sue people for telling the truth about him, I think it'd be funny if he got sued for lying.

Vanguard really wouldn't worry about that. He comes off as unhinged and a scorned ex. I don't think any damage has been done and it's worthless to get blood from a stone.
interesting enough, I took note to his exact wording, Roy is very unstable, not too bright and as @Marvin mentioned has poor grasp of English.
But, his wording has some high power weasel shit in it. What do I mean? Read his tweet a few times. It'll sink in. Roy admitted to his OBA. Then he says well because no stocks it's not a big deal. That's not how disclosure works. Nor do only securities factor in.
If you run anything side regardless of how connected it is to fiscal services it's to be disclosed period. Roy would have been told this, he disclosed his domain hustle but, didn't bother with his scam/fever dream because he's stupid and I guess thinks it's ok to collect money with out having a valid LLC/s corp/DBA. My guess Roy was happy to take funds while not being a fund himself. Especially being he'd be competing with his employer day dream or not it has to be disclosed. Roy did not. He was fired, rightfully so. Roy just doesn't like when rules get in the way so he doesn't follow them. His tract record of breaking rules has made him a joke, his victimization and tard outs gave us a lol cow.
Funny enough, with JFK anny there's been a lot of talk about him and odd facts pros cons yada yada. One shocking thing for me was (and I only bring this up since Roy is so race focused) was people legit didn't think JFK was white because he was a Irish Catholic. Funny to think in my own parents life time some people didn't think JFK was the same race as Richard Nixon, George Washington or the Beatles.
Roy uses public traded corps like social media and thinks he can set rules about use. There's a share button for a reason. The owners of the platform allow you to do it. Another case of Roy hating rules and coming off unhinged. He will do anything aside an honest days work or stop being cringe to try to get rich. If you post it, it's open game. That's what the makers of the sites he CHOOSES to use said.
With Roy's unstable behavior only growing I am hoping for some kinda sov civ arc where he tries to evict his parents from their home and starts dine and dashing because, of some crazed reasoning.

Well, Roy sure loves poking the bear. As I mentioned it's in Vanguard's best interest to leave the crazy alone. If anyone read his tweet and dug in you'd see from his public broker file, he broke the rules and was relieved of his privileges as well as employment.
Trading is a privilege not a right. SEC, FINRA and your employer/bond holder all can choose to terminate it for almost any reason aside what's listed. As I mentioned earlier Roy violated 3040. Pretty cut and dry. So in addition to anyone wanting to suspend your privileges just because, violation is more than cause for termination as well as noting on your public record. Let's be honest, people lose jobs for unrelated minor criminal behavior, good employees lose a gig over a little weed, a burn out in the Camaro, having too big a fire work etc. I'm not here to debate the ethics of that but, the corp can feel it's image is hurt and choose to relive you.
Roy had an OBA that was going to directly compete as well as be criminal in nature. Roy tested and was aware this was both criminal and civil no nos. Behavior like this is why FINRA has ethics guide lines.
Since the shop has sailed and Roy's back to square one (probably farther back as he now has a black mark on his certificate) I did entertain the idea of using a burner email and fishing the fool.
