The issue is not that his advice was bad, but that it was so bland and generic. He's not really informing anyone of anything.

All the greatest philosophers and economists just keep their ideas in their heads.

Roy is beginning to notice that his ideas are brilliant in his head, but when he writes them down they mysteriously become laughably idiotic and out of touch. Mystifying.

"Starving children in Africa? How can I make this about meeeeee?"
This reminds me of the kind of hippy shit we were bombarded with as teenagers (in the late 90s / early 2000s). "Billionaires make enough to end the entire world's poverty situation in 5 minutes". How exactly does one die from poverty? Is it hunger? Lol yeah we could 'end world poverty' with the salaries of the 100 riches people. What a bunch of fucking stupid socialist bullshit.

Roy seems exactly like the type of person that believes in this bullshit. Like the the highschool creative wiring teacher who loves the anti-capitalist bullshit that emo teens spit out.

Why do I get the feeling that their 40% consists of supplying substantially all of the money for Roy to play with?

He simply has no clue about how things work.

Anyone can tell you that the key to success is sending unsolicited tweets to people you don't know and would like to do business with.

At least he's consistent throughout the years in his approach: Walk up to people who have better things to do with their time and try to waste some of theirs.

But when he did that with Elon Musk, he meant something else entirely. Sure, Jan.

The Oracle of Omaha has given his secret away over and over. It's called tireless hard work and some luck.

He preaches it openly. Warrens a pretty cool guy, he wishes everyone to do well and be happy his skill happens to be making wealth.

Roy really admits with this he knows nothing of Buffet. His sheer lack of awareness could make someone MATI but it's too funny and bizarre too not just laugh.

Roy also knows nothing about start ups or partnerships. But that at this point is beating a dead horse.

Still a lot of venture capital in Philly wonder why these guys with multiple millions wanting a "mere" 10% ROI aren't hearing from the good Dr.P?

now it's time to add Cody Ko (some mainstream youtuber) to the lawsuit

Also he's revising his book and re-releasing it or something, does anyone here have a copy of the original ?

I have a copy and have posted some snippets in this thread. They're pretty funny if you want to go through them (starts on page 3).

Roy wants other people to give him money because he's an ENTREPRENEUR.

Also, Elon Musk-Kun wouldn't give him $2,000, so Roy had to starve on the streets. What a meanie.

He's floated this Entrepreneur Welfare scheme before. It was just as stupid then as it is now.

No way would Roy ever have paid back any loan he was given. I mean, ask his creditors.

This has to be one of Roys most clueless ideas yet

Part of VC is captial. The hard part for most small companies is cash dollars bux bills Benjamins etc.

If you have a solid plan you need cash. Cash buys stuff. Let's say you run a bakery and your industrial mixer died you need 5k now today.. pronto .

Roy wants a little here a little there. When your ducks are in a row you have to pull the trigger. That new warehouse isn't gonna be cheap backhoe? Sure a loan but 20% down etc.

That's why these people give you a fat check they want a return and are aware even using credit you need cash up front.

Roy is pretty blatant asking for free money because he's never made a dime. It also highlights aside his massive lack of understanding he has no motivation.

If your making good money why do you need a stipend? It's so stupid it hurts Roy, Please stop this.

"My ideas aren't good enough for you to give me money. Give me money anyway."

This man's on fire.

An update to the earlier tweet about the "60/40" partnership:
