The insanely high rates of both among the trans-identified, if the figures from various studies conducted on these areas are to be believed, would imply quite a significant amount of overlap. Leading to funny things like people trying hard to be manipulative while lacking the basic social skills to pull it off effectively.
A lot of current trannies are white people with white guilt but still wanted to be the center of attention when it came to civil rights matters, so "oppressed" to them doesn't mean a demographic discriminated against for characteristics or circumstances out of their control, but instead means special club where members can do whatever they want and criticizing them is against the law.
That, and realizing they didn't want to lie in the bed they helped make. Once you create those clubs, being shut out in the cold from them is not a Great Place to Be.
The fact that you never hear from black trannies or Asian trannies says it all. All the focus is on the white ones because the vast majority of them just want to be oppressed
