That's a shame because I liked her. The Woke Mind Virus has infected all the cute quirky nerd girls with glasses. I suspect that because Amanda is very connected to fandom/fan convention spaces, she interacts with a lot of wokescold women and pooners, and that's probably her main social circle too. I still watch her videos regularly, because I really do find them enjoyable and/or informative - and if this was a review of a Harry Potter convention, fair play: go wild with the criticism of the con and even the franchise. But this video was about a failed Barbie convention. There was no reason at all to bring up Harry Potter.

The Harry Potter boycott is such monumentally awful activism that it makes Occupy Wall Street look like the fucking Warsaw Uprising.​

J.K. Rowling has made it abundantly clear for the past 6 years and counting that she values attention more than money and loves it when people boycott her work over her hatred of trans people. She is not remotely subtle or covert about this. When you shower her with the former in a dubiously effective attempt to deny her the latter, you are giving her exactly what she wants and showing her that what she's doing is working and she should do it more. You are not helping trans people any more than her maid, her realtor, or her hairdresser are by taking money out of her pocket. If her actual first priority was maximizing the amount of dollars that go to TERF activism, she'd make the donations privately and not post about it constantly, and if your actual first priority was minimizing it, you'd boycott her privately and not post about it constantly. None of the idiots posting about how evil supporting her is and how they always knew she was a bad egg and liked Percy Jackson or Animorphs or A Series of Unfortunate Events or whatever the fuck else as a kid instead because they were just sooo wise and virtuous actually care about helping people, they just want to feel morally superior to the unwashed masses for not doing something they weren't going to anyway.

All my friends are watching the Harry Potter show, or how I stopped believing in allies​

All my friends are brain rotten millenials in their goddamn thirties and they're all so excited to see a dumb wizard show for kids that they forgot I'm a person with human rights and dignity. But they own protect the dolls shirts so it's all good, they did the allyship so it's okay if they materially contribute to shaping a world where I can't feel safe or respected ever.
(I don't care if you like HP or if your friends do but "they're good people actually", I read those books as a kid too but at some point later I must have developed self respect)

I went on X (eww, i know) to check Jordan and JK's feeds for transphobic stuff. Jordan seems to have calmed down a little bit (I saw 1 or 2 transphobic posts), but JK, oh god! I think every other post is some terf shit! Is she ok? Like, I hate nazis, but I don't post about them all the time. She's been at this for what? 4-5 years? What is her deal? She is a millionaire, can she just buy a jet and a pet lion and chill?

I don't believe that everyone on social media is doing things to 'pander'. That to me would mean they don't actually believe what they are saying. The vomitous cunt Rebecca 'Skepchick' Watson is all-in with trannies and she isn't doing it to pander. To pander to someone you have to keep your own ego in check and some of these kinds of people are incapable.

This happens on the right, too. Candace Owens has gone coco-loco and some say she's just chasing the most views and money. The problem is that they think certain views are too crazy to be sincerely held. But why? There's lots of crazy in the universe.

For context, Rowling tweeted SIX times (6) in February and SEVEN times (7) in March, excluding retweets. That's not tweets about trannies, that's all tweets. They are completely hallucinating that she does this all the time.

Forgive me for going over old ground and being slightly self-indulgent, folks, but I was able to get my thoughts in order regarding some of the points made by MovieBob in this video, and I felt I had to share them, because they were just so ludicrous. I mean, there's the obvious stuff - "J.K. Rowling is 'girl Hitler'", directly comparing her to David Duke, etc., but there's other stuff too.
