In a convergence of thread topics, John Lithgow is currently on Broadway playing Roald Dahl in a play in which he refuses to apologize for comments he made about Jews, based on a real happening in Dahl's later life. Lithgow gets to deliver the line “Even a stinker like Hitler didn’t just pick on them for no reason” which is taken from an actual interview.

Reminds me that the casting call for something called Majesty we laughed at a few weeks ago on the Tranny Sideshow thread is actually for a transpic of Elizabeth the 1st. I didn't realise this at the time.

The thing about Dahl was that he was certainly not an antisemite in the sense of someone who wanted bad things to happen to Jews for being Jewish. But he just wasn't the least bit afraid of saying all sorts of offensive things about all sorts of people.

There is a current idea that someone who says really offensive things can't be a nice person. But I think he disproves this.

Oh lord, of course they are. From one of the very dumbest conspiracy theories that Elizabeth I was secretly a man, based seemingly largely on some dipshit's inability to wrap his head around why the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn might have had some concerns around marriage, in a time and place when she would have been bathed and dressed by others and keeping such a massive secret for so long would have been impossible. Not to mention her scandalizing foreign dignitaries with the amount of cleavage she showed. But trans cult has to plant its big ugly pedo flag in everything, even the dead.

Also the fact that the main reason that Henry essentially framed Anne Boleyn for adultery is because he was desperate to have a son.

If Elizabeth had been a boy who insisted constantly that he was a girl, said boy would find that beaten out of him very quickly.

Absolutely. It's moronic on so many levels.

I think in the original stupid "theory," it was at least supposed to be that Elizabeth secretly died in childhood and was replaced with a lookalike boy...but literally why bother when they had Mary? If anything that would have cleared up the line of succession with no male heirs to settle the matter.

This manages to be even dumber, by a mile, all so they can pat themselves on the back over how 'progressive' they're being by turning one of the only female rulers of the country in history into another dude. Reading the casting call, sounds like this is a vehicle to attempt to run damage control against the beating gender ideology's been taking lately in the country, once again packaging it in children, but they may have missed the boat on that. Funny as fuck though that they jumped to this instead of bothering to give pooners a moment in the spotlight and twisting her speech at Tilbury to be an expression of totally valid genderfeel euphoria.

The author rejects the defence of 'separating the art from the artist' as a reason to allow themselves to watch Harry Potter.

Defence? Quite the opposite. The argument should be "watch the new Harry Potter if you're a fan, and also watch it even if you are not a fan because JK Rowling has put herself in danger for telling moral and biological truths about trans ideology which have made the world a better place".

I pirate nearly everything I watch but I'd consider purchasing HBO Max on Christmas Eve solely to support JK Rowling.

The Man literally threw the Catholic Church out of England and created his own Church just so he could divorce Catherine of Aragon so he could marry Anne Boleyn a younger woman in the hopes of fathering a son. The one defining aspect of Henry the VIII life was his desire to have a male heir and they think what he had one and passed him off as a girl. Note he did eventually have one after going thru a few wives he had Edward VI with Jane Seymour sadly Edward died a few years after his father not even reaching adulthood.

I feel like these people fail to realize that Nero was fucking insane, the castrated twink wife switcharoo was not something someone else could realistically pull off outside of that place and time.

Half of Henry's reputation is directly tied to his misadventures trying to have a son, he would never let one troon out.

Trooning out wasn't even a thing, he'd just be beaten for having a sickness of the brain.

I bought that stupid Hogwarts legacy game on xbox the day it came out and it still has the packaging on it. It was 100% a spite purchase.
Had a bunch of cunts not whinged about boycotting the game, I would've never dreamt of buying it. The second I heard "trans boycott" I said ok troons, it's on.
The fact that it is one of the best selling games of all time at over 40 million copies makes me so happy. To think, I never would have put money in JK Rowling's pocket until mentally ill assholes threatened and harassed her and told me I better not put money in her pocket.

I remember how unhinged trannies were over the game doing well to the point they made a shitty game in which a demonic JK Rowling would pressure you to buy more copies of the game and for each copy you would kill/oppress a tranny while a sad tranny yells you to not do it.

Fun times overall.
