People here keep sperging about this, but, much like the hysterical trannies who screech about JK Rowling salivating at the thought of TTD and genocide, they never back it up with quotes of her saying anything to that effect. Are you too retarded to not understand that just cause you hold one good view doesn't mean you can also hold a bad one?
Specially in the case of Rowling, for as much as he pontificates about the dangers of exposing women to troon sexual pests and the deletion of women rights, she sure only seems to care about those issues if the man is wearing a dress, but if the people doing the raping are gangs of muslim immigrants who believe women should be treated as property then it's a-ok.
Actors defending JK Rowling and her freedom of speech
Jason Isaacs - Lucius Malfoy
Ralph Fiennes - Voldemort
Tom Felton - Draco Malfoy
Robbie Coltrane - Hagrid
Evanna Lynch - Luna Lovegood
Helena Bonham Carter - Bellatrix Lestrange
Jim Broadbent - Professor Horace Slughorn
John Cleese - Nearly Headless Nick
notice how most of the people who defended JK Rowling have better positions in life because they werent absolute cunts trying to signal boost shit they didnt realistically care about
If he has a lick of sense he'd stay quiet, last thing that strange boy needs is Rowling to remind the world about that weird horse fucker play he was in.I have to admit that Emma's attempt to play this inside-outside game with JK Rowling is pretty obvious and contemptible. Has Daniel Radcliffe tried to do anything similar, or has he been smart enough to realize that shit has sailed?
Rowling's been getting on my nerves because of all the retarded retcons to her books she's been doing on twitter for the past few years. However after this hard "fuck off and check your privilege" to someone who worsened her reputation, I forgive her.JKR just made a long post addressing the Emma Watson situation.

the ppl who push trans radical beliefs were all anti-free speechWell Robbie Coltrane is dead.
But other than natural causes and being fat, he was always part of the alternative comedy scene and was outspoken on injustice.
Free speech was obviously important to him.
I think it was accurate for the region. Belle's supposed to be in Riquewihr or somewhere rural-adjecent in the North. Literacy in Paris was as you describe, and regardless of sex I think led the world in literacy. Outside of that city, France was the desolate mud-and-pigs Deliverance background shot most people imagine it to be now. In the 18th century, women in Belle's village may have known how to read, and not been in trouble for doing so, but the average redneck would still make fun of the minority of other rednecks who were into it. Look at how a woman drinking a beer would be treated in Ireland in like, the 60s as an example. Also, fun historical fact: by the 18th century in France, women reading wasn’t seen as some anomaly like it’s portrayed in the live action Beauty and the Beast.
I thought this was very well written and pretty reasonable.JKR just made a long post addressing the Emma Watson situation.
Reddit is proof monkpox exist for a reason. Redditors deserve moneypox.Anyway, heres how Redditors are spinning it
As much as I appreciate the turn of the worm with troonery and acknowledge she wound up being a useful asset in this regard due to how her milquetoast takes resulted in very literal public chimpouts by the grotesquery that is the IRL troon activist sphere which redpilled a hell of a lot of normies, let us not delude ourselves into thinking she is #ourguyal or that there is not a good chance she won't resume her place at the head of the mob when the troon shit is fully Old Yeller'd
I don't think its that they owe her any particular loyalty or need to agree with her views, I think its more about the way they publicly trashed her for wrongthink and now want to make amends that public opinion has began to turn a bit which is disingenuous on their part. If they actually wanted to talk it out, they'd do so privately. This is clearly a way to get heat off of themselves now that the tranny cult is a little less influential. This "I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous" line really sums up the egotistical, ridiculous view she has on the entire situation. She clearly thinks these successful 30+ year old actors should just shut the fuck up and be grateful to her forever because she wrote the books that movies they were cast in as children were based on, as if she came down from the heavens and gifted them with millions of unearned dollars and now they're stabbing her in the back by saying they don't agree with her unhinged half-decade meltdown when asked about it. This is the response she gives when they try to say something nice about her, just another hystrionic, classless screed from this shriveled cunt's castle.
I don't believe this is true, but I will definitely be calling @Magic Pickle Joanne from now on.My headcanon is that @Magic Pickle is actually Joanne herself.
She just gave Emma Watson the verbal equivalent of the "call an ambulance but not for me" meme. She really is a Kung Fu master with the English language
idk why this thread got featured, now my comfy british woman btfoing british trannies thread is featureslop featuring rowling derangement syndrome sufferersPutting this thread in the Beauty Parlour was a mistake.
this is completely wrong and i have no idea why people are thoughtlessly agreeing. "change of tact" is not a set phrase. it's a mistaken, ungrammatical bastardization of "change of tack", which is the correct, common set phrase and indeed has nautical, metaphorical origins. "change of tack" is a nice turn of phrase but it's utterly unremarkable. nobody says "change of tact" to refer to a "change of tactics" unless they're dumb. they would just say "change of tactics" or "tactical change". "tact" means "skill or sensitivity in dealing with others".What a magnanimous reply to someone who deserves no mercy for acting like an absolute snake. By the way, as an indication that Rowling is indeed a writer:

Most people would use the phrase "change of tact," which means something similar but is not the original phrase nor is it the best fitting. Tacking is a nautical term (a common origin for many turns of phrase) which refers to the ropes used for changing the direction of sails to catch wind. When she says, "change of tack," she means Emma has turned her sails back in Rowling's direction now that the wind has blown her way, which is a subtly different notion to "change of tact," meaning "tactics," which would infer that there was a battle between the two requiring tactics. No, change of tack nicely describes Emma as someone who just goes wherever the wind dictate her, calling her out as a mindless drone and a fair-weather friend without ever uttering either phrase once.
Truly a masterful flourish and a deft demonstration of the British knack for delivering deep cuts without resorting to vulgarity, but I doubt Ms. Watson has the intellect to detect such a barb. She is a Hollywood golem, after all.
