Here she is probably talking about Stephen Fry.

Agreed. Especially because Stephen read all the British releases of the Harry Potter books on audio, and he did voice overs for the video game.

He probably thought he'd get more work again with it.

"We wouldn't allow people to defend Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin or any other genocidal maniac here"

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and JK Rowling. (Sorry Saddam Hussein, Jefferson Davis and Idi Amin, you have been bumped down the list in favor of someone more deserving. Next time work harder on your warmongering, murder and torture if you want a better score, because it's hard to be morally worse than mean tweets and financing the YNBAW legislation!)

Some retard with pronouns in his bio made a comic "dunking" on JK Rowling

He seems to think that what she said would make a normal person think she's a freak instead of them knowing that what she's saying is objectively correct and recognizing that the real problem is that she even needs to say something so obviously true.

The thing is that if someone were arrested for defending Stalin or Pol Pot or Hamas these same people would have been outraged. While outrage might be too strong a word for how I'd feel, I would still think that it was massive overstep by the government because as much as I would like to see actually, genuinely genocidal freaks to actually face some consequences, it is still their right to say whatever they want. Especially if they are citizens of the country arresting them (sorry, but non-citizens aren't afforded the same rights nor should they be). But that's because I actually have principles whereas these freaks are just trying to justify their evil behavior.
I loathe Noam Chomsky on every level, but he said one thing that I think was really well-put (even though he's been hypocritical about it throughout his embarrassment of a career)
If you believe in freedom of speech, you believe in freedom of speech for views you don't like. Goebbels was in favor of freedom of speech for views he liked. So was Stalin. If you're in favor of freedom of speech, that means you're in favor of freedom of speech precisely for views you despise.

I saw some scurrilous rumors that Fry is going to be outed as a sec pest in the next year, which is just another reason not to have anything to do with him.

Saddam Hussein, Jefferson Davis and Idi Amin
One of these things is not like the others.

JK Rowling crashes out in long rant as Harry Potter director blames her for lack of reunion

Imagine seeing this short and simple essay as a crash-out rant. The projection here is off the scale - as usual

Oh, I have definitely seen proof. He hasn't really hidden it.

The crazy thing is he stood by her for years and refused to cut off his friendship with her, which got him more flack, and then he suddenly changed his tune after saying he wouldn't.

I agree with one part of this. I am not even nostalgic for Harry Potter and have never consoomed the franchise (well other than Hogwart's), and I still care more about it than every troon on the face of the planet.
If consooming HP and Strike actually did remove trannies from all aspects of public life, I would skip the middleman and directly wire JKR every remaining cent in my bank account.

If it's true about Stephen Fry, the funny thing is Hugh Laurie will be in the Harry Potter thing.

It could also be Chris Columbus who is angry at JK because he wanted to do more Potter stuffy but can't.

Both hate her for their own retarded reasons.

Him also possibly, yes. Stephen dumping her is crazier to me considering he defended her for years.

Then he suddenly threw her under the bus.

The only thing that makes me think it might not be Stephen is that he gets a lot of work, so it's not like not doing Harry Potter would hurt anything.

Man Chrissy is really shitting the bed isn't he? Obviously he's one of those 'how do you do fellow kids' Boomers who didn't learn what an SJW or a microaggression was until he was already an over the hill fart but is now frantically fellating the archetype as much as he can. But he's really laying it on pretty thick even for a typical Boomer. I thought the nonsense with how the Trump Home Alone cameo was suddenly a sinister event after all these years was pretty cringe but this recent temper tantrum is even more embarrassing. He might as well staple a sign on his face with 'The new Harry Potter series is making me feel like an insignificant hasbeen and hungry for attention. Please give me some'. To think he was once the king of domestic escapism.
