Nick Frost, seemingly anticipating a load of Angry Alices and Seething Sophies, disabled comments on his announcement that he'd be playing Hagrid in the new Harry Potter series, prompting them all to swarm him elsewhere, shaming him for his participation in the trans genocide.
I don't especially like Frost - I think he basically managed to worm his way into having a successful career by having a far more talented friend in Simon Pegg - but I wouldn't wish this shit on him.
I do think it's interesting the way that the article chooses to phrase the headline, though. 'Nick Frost forced to take action after Harry Potter backlash'. Might I suggest an alternative headline? 'Irrelevant but very online people desperately try to make their fringe views seem mainstream and relevant by brigading comments section of successful actor's social media page'.
