I can't believe J.K. Rowling's dark TERF influence is so powerful that it reaches all the way to the Islamic monarchy of Malaysia. There's no doubt that this must already have caused the deaths of at least 41 trans woman sex workers and 14 trans kids in the country (Rest In Power).

If only Rowling would stop spreading her transphobia on social media, the Malaysian government would immediately legalize all things trans, because clearly the only thing that could possibly motivate people in an Islamic country to be opposed to tranny shit is the shitposts of a British children's books author on Xitter.

Get the GBC Harry Potter games. There's only Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, since Gameboy Color was on its last legs, but they're excellent as a first RPG for kids and hold up decently for adults. I think Chamber of Secrets might actually be the last GBC game ever released in English.

I had the GBA one for Prisoner of Azkaban as a kid and it was fun. Basically, all the early games before Goblet of Fire on most consoles/handhelds were pretty fun to play and added in a lot of world building and exploration. Whereas once movie 4 was out, they just became the typical movie tie-in garbage that just followed the events of the movies (and copied the actors) and didn't add anything unique or interesting.

My favorite part about that post is how far out of their way the OP went to make sure they don't mention it was an LBGA event and that the attack (because it was an attack, come on) was motivated at least in part by homophobia and the belief that gays and bisexuals are "traitors" if they don't support the trans cause.

But no, no, of course we can't say that out loud! People might notice that troons and their supporters are incredibly homophobic! So it was an "anti-trans event" "linked to JKR"... yeah, that'll disguise it well enough to avoid allegations of hate crimes!

At least one person had something smart to say: "You can't even talk about it as anything other than a fact because it's a fundamental belief of yours. A mate of mine mentioned that there's a community of people who still play (and mod, I think - what I assume to be a online /PC version of) the PlayStation etc game version of the Chamber of Secrets.

I don't understand how some of the people in that thread seem to stay on top of the current gender critical arguments bt still can't see reason?
Not to have the same pig headed "how could anyone think differently to me when I'm so obviously right" they display, but... how can they just flat deny there's a conflict of interest?
I'm not unsympathetic, I definitely nodded along to a lot of genderist rhetoric as a teenager, bt I've always assumed it was so easy because I wasn't hearing any opposition. There was truly nothing to think about, genderism wasn't wide spread and you were lucky to meet more than one trans person a decade so doing the 'nice' thing seemed easy enough.
If you're following what the terfs are talking about though you'll see example after example of heinous behaviour and human rights abuses and all they can think is, what about the poor trannies?
Sorry to sperg, but what actually has to be wrong with you to be like this?
I can even understand still being sympathetic to the cause, but to so confidently be like "there's no argument to be had"?
