Abbott is really in the last chance saloon at the moment, very nearly got deselected before the general election but she is as tenacious and slightly more careful than Corbyn. She's probably going to sit this one out for now.

This is why I hate the suicide baiting tactics of the trans rights activists.

Surely if someone is so close to suicide, then being allowed to go in the women’s toilets and being called “she” isn’t going to have much of a realistic difference to their mental state?

Let alone giving them experimental hormone treatments and massive surgeries.
Even people who have actual life saving surgery are traumatized by the procedure.

Again, and to bring it back on full topic, I suppose this kind of magical thinking is why they are so personally wounded by JKR, as they probably hoped she would reveal one day that she really is a witch and would magic them all into the bodies they wanted.

I don't usually watch anything the repulsive faggot does, but it seems every time I notice him, it's because he's said something contemptuous or resentful of an actual woman, or of women in general. The clip of him making shit up to paint Rowling as doing something bitchy and spiteful fits the trend.

Personally, I have never forgiven Stephen Fry for his treatment of Rik Mayall when they were doing the play, Cell Mates, together. Stephen got butthurt because of some early reviews saying he wasn't very good, and had one of his infamous pre-Twitter Twitter flounces, fucking off and going missing right in the middle of the run, leaving only some vague suicide baiting comment, and leaving everybody else, most notably Rik, to pick up the pieces.

Thankfully, Rik Mayall being Rik FUCKING Mayall, he heroically managed to save the production practically single-handedly.

Only the actors and Rik’s agent, Aude Powell, who came for several nights to support Rik backstage, saw how much Rik suffered. He came offstage every night in floods of tears and it is a great tribute to his courage that he never gave up. I have seen this described as “professionalism”, which of course it was, but it was much more than that. It was pure guts. From Rik, it was an astonishing display of courage, loyalty and dignity and Simon quite rightly paid tribute to him in his book about the production, Fat Chance, by dedicating it “For Rik”.

Wasn't he diagnosed bipolar or manic-depressive? I mean, maybe he also claimed that as an excuse for asshole behavior, but it IS a mental illness.
 
Stephen Fry claimed he ran off because he couldn't handle the negative reviews he was getting, but the real reason was that there was a rumour about him being inappropriate with a young boy and he needed to distract from it with a big gay flounce to LA (where he was photographed on the beach, having a nice little holiday) and a "suicide attempt" that amounted to him sitting in his car in the garage and wondering if maybe he should hook a hosepipe up to the exhaust

I'm amazed he didn't, he can't seem to stop himself from shoving things up the tailpipe
