I think, before the internet was a thing, there were obviously weirdos who had somewhat crazy thoughts, but they had no outlet for them and just ended up growing out of it most of the time, plus the fact that they never felt emboldened by being part of a group made a big difference.

Now, no matter what you're into, you can find a group to get involved with, which can lead to people getting sucked into echo chambers of extremism, especially as people can be anonymous online.

Because, as @Candidate No 7 mentions, it was a very windy day that day, his skirt blew up during the middle of his rambling speech about the Hillsborough disaster. Andy Ngo was in attendance and posted the video to Twitter, poking fun at this indignity, and also the ludicrousness of the situation because, as has been mentioned (and as should be obvious to anyone with functioning eyes!), Sophie is a rather large gentleman dressed in a little breezy summer dress someone of his build is entirely unsuited for.

In the histrionic, desperate-for-victim-status trannoid mind of Sophie and his Twitter supporters, however, this constituted as upskirting and they tried to have Andy Ngo prosecuted. Even though you can actually watch the entirety of this speech, unedited, from an arguably more revealing angle on Sophie's OWN YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

None of the people I'm friends with on Facebook who went on an on about efil TERFs in recent years have said anything about the Cass review. I think the largest, sheepiest part of the crowd is slowly dispersing in embarrassed silence.
