At their heart, trannies are the most patriarchal, misogynistic men around, and they firmly believe a woman's job is to feed them, coddle them and give them blowjobs on demand, and god help any woman who doesn't fill that role. Funny how they all claim to be "feminists," in light of that.

What gets me is that they think this suicide baiting shit works the way they're using it. Yea it's effective, but only if whoever you're trying to strongarm is emotionally invested - girlfriend, parent, etc. Why would anyone have any sort of response to it when it comes from a person that they've never even met. My brain immediately goes to 'well if you don't give enough of a fuck about your life why should i?'

I have the same issue with pronouns when some hulking ogre who has done absolutely nothing to look like a "woman" other than smearing clown makeup on himself like a kid who got into his mom's makeup kit. If you care so little about the sex you pretend to be, why should I put any more effort into pretending you're anything other than obviously the man you are?

The other reason not to is the man is built like a linebacker and obviously severely mentally ill, and might have a knife or a gun.

Most people avoid deliberately antagonizing dangerous crazy people. Troons mistake this for actually buying their bullshit.

It's like how a theif always thinks other people are trying to steal from them. Because they think everyone they hate is unrepentant evil, worst of the worst literal bazis murdering trans people, they think the constant disgusting shit they say and do is justified. I feel bad for Harry Potter fans. They just want to play pretend having magic powers, and whoever is in charge of policing morality in media just doesn’t let them be.

Honestly no matter how put-together a given troon is or how hard he works to "look like a woman," the fact that he's willingly violating women's private spaces tells you that he's at the very least unbalanced and a creep and is a major red flag behaviorally. That's why these guys keep getting away with it tbh - if you're a woman and you're just trying to get changed after a workout and there's some 6'2" man in your locker room, even if he isn't swinging his dick around or even if his eyeliner is just perfect you know on an instinctual level that there is something wrong with him. He's somewhere he knows he's not supposed to be.

I was talking about trans shit with a relative earlier and she was trying to push the whole "well if they're not hurting anyone..." and I had to point out to her that no, they are hurting people by violating women's boundaries in the first place. To not be hurting anyone, they'd have to be using men's spaces where they belong. But even by being in women's spaces in the first place they are violating boundaries that exist for a reason and that is harmful behavior. Not to mention by being in those spaces, they make them hostile to women who, for example, cannot disrobe around strange men because of their religion (ie Muslim women, some Jewish women). Violating others' boundaries without consent is harm. And being willing to do that is a sign of an unwell mind and a dangerous person when it's done in this way.

And that's why women defer to them in person. They already know these guys are potentially dangerous creeps.

Then again, these are the same adults who are completely obsessed with children's shows to the point that they ruin them for the children they're actually for (see: My Little Pony) with their depravity. So they've always taken things for kids way too seriously.

It’s a lose lose either way. If this person (god forbid) actually wants to kill themselves because of this game then it just reinforces the idea that trans people are mentally unstable and that it should be recognized as a mental illness. If it’s bait it shows how deranged these people are to stoop to levels so low in order to get attention and to get people to stop playing a video game they don’t like.

Trying to play with a human’s primal emotion to help each other in order to serve your own gains is one of the most evil things somebody can do.

And yes, I am Jewish. I do think the goblins are rooted in fantasy tropes that could have antisemitic origins. But the attempt to somehow argue that this game, or the franchise, or Rowling herself, is actively, openly antisemitic is wildly misplaced and made in very bad faith.

The antisemitism thing doesn't even make any sense.

From what I understand it's already established that evil queen Joanne wasn't involved in making the game. The game's only connection to JK is via the IP itself, and that connection is the basis of the attempted boycott. There's no wrongthink in the game itself.

So by what series of events do they believe the game became deliberately antisemitic?

A) This is just something they do in big budget games, and it's totally coincidental that it's in a product they're looking for any excuse to skewer.

B) The writers/developers, I guess due to exposure to a bigot's aura, became corrupted to the point that they had to start inserting antisemitic dog whistles into the game purely for personal satisfaction.

C) JK is able to skillfully sew hatred into the fabric of everything she does, such that anyone who tries to adapt her work will wind up making something bigoted; you're busy typing away writing some content for a Harry Potter property and you proofread your work only to realize oh jeez! This is actually a detailed plan on how to build mobile gas chambers.

D) This was some kind of stipulation passed from JK to the publisher: it's integral to the spirit of Harry Potter that you make sure the goblins are a fairly obvious Jewish analogue, and that you make veiled references to Jewish genocide; Warner Bros Games maybe thought that was a little weird but trusted her artistic vision.

Meanwhile the most compelling reason to not buy the game remains because being a corporate consoomer obsessed with series for children is no way to go through life, and also that nobody should be paying $60 for videogames.

The Jew is right, goblins may themselves have been based in part off antisemitic caricatures, but at this point it's an established fantasy trope.

It's kind of like when the same crowd went after Cyberpunk 2077 for not providing explicit pre-game epilepsy warnings even though that's not actually something any game does. No thought whatsoever, just feed them a line so they have something to parrot while they chimp out.
 
I'm saving for some professional shit and my cousin's wedding abroad, so it'll probably be a bit before I try the game myself, but I'm looking forward to it. Harry Potter may not be high art or anything, but compared to all the YA shit I've read since it still has a certain verve so many other series lacks. Might just be nostalgia talking.

As for the subject of troon REEEEing, I feel like their cod-Maoist cultural revolution shit would gain a little more traction if these ghouls were capable of creating any kind of new art besides gross visual novels. Seriously, the best trans book I've ever read was a YA superhero thing, and even by the standards of that genre, it was just okay. Rowling's work triumphs over these people because they are incapable of giving anyone else a good time.

Personally, I stopped liking Harry Potter when all the kids who bullied me in elementary school over liking it became the adults talking about how they're still upset over never getting their Hogwarts letter and they're toooootally a Hufflepuff uwu. Seeing the rapid turnaround and subsequent meltdown of just about every one of them that got a Deathly Hallows tattoo has been a little gratifying to me, personally.
