Atheists consider themselves rational/rationalists because they think we believers are irrational and we expect every other problem be solved by a miracle instead of doing anything to solve it. They see us as people unable to have depth and knowledge or an appreciation for science and non-religious art. Not all, but these specific atheists are like this.
Speaking as someone who's not particularly faithful myself, I think the easiest trap for people of that type to fall into is that because they see themselves as elementally more "rational" than this other group of people they've deemed "irrational", it creates a sort of bias of uncriticality within them where they think "well, this thought I had must be right, because I had it and I'm a rational person." They begin to see their thoughts as implicitly right and theists' as implicitly wrong.

It's a sort of credentialism, almost, where they think that the source of a thought, rather than the intrinsic merits of its argument, is what determines its truth. In reality, they heavily strawman the faithful as both ascribing literally every thought they have to faith as well as assuming that having faith in a thought is mutually exclusive with rationality, because as soon as they're comfortable in their self-conception as smart and enlightened, they stop showing any thought that crosses their mind the slightest bit of scrutiny.

It's the thought, not the thinker, that constitutes the truthfulness.

Infamous gayden pooner mushycrouton is once again trying to shit on Rowling for attention. Most of the replies are telling her off, which is notable as most of her big posts in the past have been echo-chambers with botted likes. I think in the past she made some retarded joke about Rowling being moldy that tranny twitter loved. She's been mentioned in the Pooner Zoo a few times.

And yes she makes a big deal out of calling herself (a straight woman) a victim of homohobia, despite posting shit like this:

Any honest fag will say it's about the dick. Only a tranny will insist on "gender".

For whatever reason, a lot of replies don't seem to realize this is a woman, even though her profile pic is a dead giveaway:

Another crypto-gayden is here to give her moral support:

They also don’t see the irony that believing there is definitely no higher power requires as much faith as believing there is one. They are as closed minded as they accuse others of being.

How many bother to open a profile picture for a closer look? If I were browsing and saw the picture, I would just think it was an unfortunate-looking male feminist type thing.
At some point you just have to take a selfie not wearing glasses.

It annoys me when pooners use the fact that they've supposedly experienced homophobia as proof that they're T&H gay doods. If I somehow manage to do a convincing enough Indian cosplay that a random drunk stranger tells me to poo in the loo, does that mean I'm Indian? Is Rachel Dolezal actually black because she claims to have experienced racism while dressed up as a black woman?

Let's be real, though — any homophobia experienced by straight pooners is probably because people mistake them for butch lesbians.

Went downtown to the city nearby, there is a huge ad campaign for the new Harry Potter audiobook. Fantastic mood boost. I wonder how many panic attacks this has caused worldwide now.

A friend just sent a facebook link to a gender special woman who works at the tiny local book store, whining about having to sell Harry Potter and Cormoran Strike books. Next payday I'm gonna go there and buy the entire Strike series.

(I'm usually not a fan of crime/detective novels, but Rowling has a lovely writer's voice and I look forward to reading them. Seeing gender specials face when I buy the books is just a bonus)

Do you think they ever feel stupid saying LGBTQIA+? Like the whole thing? It's entirely too long an acronym and they keep adding more shit every year. What even is the plus at that point?

Buy them one by one, every time you go back for a new one make sure to talk about how wonderful the last entry was. Ask her if there is maybe a collection or premium version available of the books. When christmas time comes ask her what books she would recommend for your teenage family members, after she walks you through the endless diversity olympics offerings, Thank her for her work, but muse aloud that harry potter is a classic and that will probably be a better present.

I don't know how many of them that also say the 2S part, since some countries like Canada are additionally pushing the 2S part specifically.

If that is your goal you should buy them one by one.

Edit: SNAP!

Talking about Strike, this dialogue from The Ink Black Heart cracked me up:

TIBH is largely about a toxic fandom that eats up the creators who inspired it in the first place. Can't imagine what can have inspired that.
