Hell, the reason why Jo's response is getting such positive reactions is because she was so careful with her wording. It wasn't an unrelenting "fuck off, Emma". She spent the middle chunk of it clarifying that she understands why Emma fell into the troon trap: she's an unimaginably wealthy actress. There hasn't been a millisecond of her life where she's been one of the Unwashed, and given how much money she has she never will be. She doesn't know what sharing a bathroom with an exhibitionist troon even means.

Jo simply doesn't forgive her because A, it wasn't really an apology, and B, it's not healthy to forget the name of someone with demonstrated willingness to sell you down the river at the earliest opportunity.
 
I think it's telling when a slop aggregator like BoredPanda starts approving neutral-to-positive articles about JK Rowling.

Until very recently, their write-ups of her tweets were all more along the lines of "Remember When You Were Better”: JK Rowling’s Jab At David Tennant Massively Backfires", which makes me wonder if there was a policy change on what submissions to post.

But, what's her opinion on the Islamification of Europe again? She's always been more concerned about the possibility of shitting next to a man than the very real likely hood of young White girls being raped in the streets by curry niggers.
Great anti-trans post, but she still hasn't invited that curry nigger family into her own home like she encouraged others to do

Gee, Emma, what were you expecting? You're as backstabbing, elitist, and two-faced as everyone else in Hollywood. Why did you think you were entitled to have friends when you're incapable of thinking about anyone but yourself? You've proven you're not a good friend by betraying J.K. Rowling.

Why would anyone, not just Hollywood types, want to be friends with someone who would betray them at the first opportunity? You have men who chase your looks, people who still see you as a children's book character, and yes-men and women drawn to your status but who don't actually care about you as a person.

But how many real friends do you have, I wonder? If you do, I would definitely be wary of someone who would throw me to the wolves the instant it was convenient.

I gave her her flowers when appropriate, specifically over tranny shit, RDS victims are incapable of doing that much. Can you please show us the most egregious examples of JK Rowling demanding that we take in hordes of immigrants. A word of advice, a tweet saying that we should be nice to refugees or that she thinks refugees are fine won’t cut it, I’m going to need her being nasty to people who offer mild pushback or her calling for immigrants/refugees should be completely unrestricted and immune to the law. Something actually deranged and not a reasonable opinion that you disagree with.

Don't get me wrong, I do too, layered meaning and roundabout humor is great, but I dunno. Something about that phrase paired with that context and that person makes me feel like it comes from a very snide place, like they're sticking it to all their imagined haters as they write it.

I just get annoyed when I see behavior that suggests someone is internally intellectually proclaiming themselves to be above the trite dalliances of the smallpeople, I guess.

Giving objective and truthful criticisms is nothing like the trans rights activists who sincerely believe she’s the second coming of Hitler and send rape and death threats.

We should be able to say things such as the following without being jumped on by mindless idiots:
  • Being on benefits for one year, supported by wealthier friends, does not give JKR any right to speak for those in poverty
  • She’s a hypocrite for expecting very public repentance from the woke who tried to cancel her, when she behaved similarly about rapefugees and will never apologise for it
  • The last three Harry Potter books weren’t as good as the first.
Everything else - great, and I have nothing but compliments for her wit, eloquence, talent, literary works, and most of all her tenacity in fighting gender insanity.

Rogen was cool about it, and he claims she did promote it, but in the end she kind of fucked herself over. Because that movie did pretty well.

You could maybe make it work if you did something like "Thomasin Mary Violet Riddle" that anagrams to "I am Lady Voldemort, hisinter!". Hisinter is wizard word that means "cower before me" and is not because I find anagrams hard and had letters left over.

She isn't obligated to fight every war, and she got in trouble for disagreeing at 1% of other 99% evil things, why do you think she should now change her stance in that 99% to score 100% for the other camp?

That said, I don't think her stance on diversity is as strong as it once was, but it's her right what she expresses and what she does not.
