Who cares whether JK is le epic based racist? The enemy thinks she is and that's just as powerful in their deluded little minds. The fact she's only doubling down on her chuddy views in the era of Charlie Kirks is frankly commendable, given she has an even bigger platform, and an even more rabid sect of insane people out for her blood? As an aside, reading her statement was profoundly saddening. It really feels like when you make your mother cry. She didn't seem to be "dunking" on Watson to me; she just wanted her to come to terms with the pain she caused by her betrayal. I hope the guilt eats that vapid airhead alive.

Sophie Molly (so nice he stole a woman's name twice) was just sperging out yesterday about how much Farage spends on security. I wonder why, in the age of wrong-think figureheads (including Joanne) being threatened with death and killed, he's getting so hot and bothered about them not going round unprotected?

It is very revealing she kept that handwritten note a secret. Watson put her on blast, and instead of using the note to swipe back at her, she kept it to herself. Emma picked her new friends, and Rowling let her. She disagreed, but she let Watson make her own choices in life. Besides, a catty jab would just look bad. It is only when Watson tries to use her AGAIN that Rowling puts down her foot and let's her know her previous silence was a one-time kindness out of love for the child actress she loved.

It's actually sobering that, as catty as JKR tends to be, she was so restrained here. As you say, she demonstrated a lot of class by initially withholding information about the note, even though it would have publicly outed Watson as a snake. She's clearly just trying to get something through that dimwit's three-inch-thick skull and has finally realised nothing is going to sink in.

It's almost like she's washing her hands clean of her. Disowned.

This is is a social, political and to an extent even a religious war ( I don't meant Christianity just that people act like cultists on reddit, blue sky, and X against JKR)

And yet people want literal actors, and entertainers, to be their heroes in their war. That's something I will never get.

They jusy don't get it. I don't care about trannies existing. No one does. We care about their choices.

Not just their choices to be gross as fuck, but also the hatred they put on people that have different opinions

That's why they infuriate me so much. I have an opinion on black people..I dont like them generally. I also don't like salt and vinegar chips or coffee. The fact that trannies think I'm BAD because I have opinion or an idea is what makes me wanna gas them

I think that the number of people who actually know who Boy George is, is getting smaller by the passing year.
You’ll still get teenagers in current day who know who JK Rowling is, even if it’s only for her politics.

You’ll have some younger people who listen to his music because of his “snap back” at JK Rowling, as the celebrity gossip mouth pieces like to put it. But it’ll be short lived, and even they will probably be turned off by how much of a creep the man is.
Even some Gen X’ers that grew up when he had a couple of hit songs go, “Yea, I liked a song or two of his back in the day. But he was a weirdo then, and he still is now.”
 
Emma Watson has been giving off big Femcel energy to me these last few years. I really do think she's going to become that old crusty harpie/aspie type as she gets older and really hits the wall. She's damn bitter she didn't have a bigger career and has been able to live off the Potter & Beast money.

Also, the note really confirms Watson is a snake that will go with wherever the wind blows.

It'll be interesting to see just how many reap what they sowed years ago. Rowling calling out Watson for being a multimillionaire since she was 14 really was one of the better burns we've gotten in awhile.

Korea has a similar thing, horses in general are supposedly bad for a year to give birth to a girl in because the traits of the horse are suboptimal for wives/moms (headstrong, assertive, etc). Considering how much of this stuff is kind of ingrained in East Asian culture — it’s pretty common for even non-superstitious people to know their sign, and even “normies” might use their zodiac to determine stuff like auspicious colors or dates or whatever especially for a birth or wedding or so on — I’d be shocked if China wasn’t similar to both. But in this case, metal cuts or controls wood. /sperg

Not surprised Boy George not only got Watson’s sign wrong, though. It seems many of the celebs rushing to try to use JKR as an opportunity to raise themselves up parrot all sorts of misinformation without a care to double-check their sources. It takes two seconds to google this shit, you’d think some terminally online irrelevant boomer one-hit wonder would have the time to do so before doing a #ebin dunk on wizard lady.

I dated a woman who is a photographer here in LA-- sometimes for small time actors/actresses... she did a bunch of stuff with some of the girls on Pretty Little Liars and some other crap of that tier... enough to become familiar with how they are. Male and female actors are both the worst sorts of people you can imagine. They're basically all two-faced attention whores with no guts. They have two modes; 'shamelessly sucking up' and backstabbing. When they see that one of their "friends" has become the target of the swarm, they either join in with the other piranha, or sit back and watch them be torn to shreds. They never, ever, show any sort of character... because they have none. They're empty vessels. They're basically narcissistic holes that must have attention and praise shoveled into them 24-7, and can never be filled.

Watson's behavior never surprised me, nor does her tepid course correction as the winds are clearly shifting. It's nice to see someone like Rowling pull the knife out of her own back and shove it up Watson's cunt. Actors should never fuck with writers. They are not the same species.

It's interesting how she's SO close to getting it: JK Rowling IS a good person and was genuinely kind and good to her. She's not this horrible Nazi paper tiger everyone scapegoats her as...but Emma can't admit that to herself or others, so she dances around how it's not "either/or."

Claiming there’s a trans wrongthink to far right extremist pipeline is just their attempt at fear mongering. But it’s kind of true that once you fully deconstruct the postmodernist lunacy behind the concept, a lot of the underpinnings of identity politics in general start to come undone. If I can see the holes in queer theory maybe I should also scrutinize critical race theory, etc.

That doesn’t necessarily make you actually a racist, but to these people merely questioning their ideological sacred cows might as well be a hate crime.
