Is there any fucking podcast in this world that is either all about Harry Potter or does episode/s about it and does not condemn Rowling for being "a bigot"??? Is there any such thing?? At the very least I just want to find something that at least don't talk badly about her (about this issue). I get it if they agree but don't have the guts to come out and say the truth, the social sanctions for daring to express such opinion would be huge. I get it. I wish we could have a podcast like that that actually supports what she says about the horrible transcult and its implications for women's right, children, people on the autistic spectrum, etc., but I guess that's too much to ask in this day and age. But could I at least get one measly podcast that doesn't condemn her about this issue??? SHE IS RIGHT ABOUT THIS, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

I already dropped a few podcasts over this, it just pisses me off so much. But this podcast that I am listening to right now, which is about books in general and has only a few episodes about Harry Potter, this podcast I really like. But listening to these libtards talking about how Rowling is a boomer so her views are "narrow-minded" and see things in black-and-white therefore she is not being able to accept the complexities of people's identities (I fucking hate this word at this point), but her characters are better than her, you know how Sirius said The world isn't split into good people and death eaters", that means he can see complicities which Rowling evidently can not (by the way Sirius in particular was actually a rather black-and-white guy himself, yes he said this but it's one thing to say something and another to actually do it, so no it's not a good example actually). Bullshit! You are the ones who actually think in black-and-white, everyone who dare question the transcult tenets such as "trans women are women", you immediately brand as a "transphobe" and therefore deserve condemnation, instead of actually listening to what she has to say about it, open your fucking mind and think for yourselves for once, and realize that not everything you are told is good and humane and empathic is actually this, sometimes it's the contrary. God, I can't wait for a decade or two to pass and see this horrible medical experiment and abuse condemned already and be regarded as a medical scandal, mass delusion and social contagion, which it is.

Sorry. Rant over. I stopped in the middle of it because it passed me off so badly. I'll continue for a little while and see. If they won't shut up about her "bigoted views" and "narrow-mindedness" in the next few minutes, I'm out. I've had of this.

I recently went through the same thing with a book club I was in, so I share your frustration. It's both funny and exasperating how they feel the need to add a disclaimer about Rowling whenever Potter is mentioned. This "her characters would hate her" attitude is one I've seen a lot (even in response to her own tweets!) and I'm tired of sharing the internet with children in adults' bodies.

I wanted to highlight this part of your response because, once again, Rowling shows both that she's smarter than them and that she understands people way better than they do. Here's her talking about Sirius and about that quote in particular:

Sirius is very good at spouting bits of excellent personal philosophy, but he does not always live up to them. For instance, he says in Goblet of Fire that if you want to know what a man is really like, ‘look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.’ But Sirius loathes Kreacher, the house-elf he has inherited, and treats him with nothing but contempt. Similarly, Sirius claims that nobody is wholly good or wholly evil, and yet the way he acts towards Snape suggests that he cannot conceive of any latent good qualities there. In a way, this particular flaw of Sirius' reminds me of them, what with the what he said/what he actually did thing, and the black and white thinking. And he did try to kill Snape once.

The people wishing death on Rowling, the podcast hosts condemning her views, the people who disagree with calling her a bigot but don’t challenge it - they all think they would be the man refusing to perform the Nazi salute. When in reality, they are already saluting, either scared of the consequences of not conforming or, more sinister perhaps, because they are “good people who think we should all just get along”.

This is massively retarded since (as you can see in the original video kazuhiro posted) Rowling commented on the first screenshot of the video and not the garbled text frames, which this disingenuous fucker just leaves out to pretend she was "reading AI slop".
As for why it's there... No idea who created that video in the first place, but my guess would be that those frames were intentionally garbled with AI, maybe for anonymity. Who knows why the person did not cut them out, but the original tweet she commented on is real. Would have made more sense to just take a proper screenshot just of that.

She put a lot of thought into these characters, and she clearly has a lot of love for them, and that comes through in this bit of writing here.

She describes his flaws so tenderly.

My respect for her has only grown.

Typically for Wikipedia, they provide a totally misleading description of ownership.

"As a result of controversy surrounding the clinic's founders, ownership was transferred to Harland International of Hong Kong in 2019. GenderGP is registered in Singapore as of December 2022."

The 'controversy' was in fact Helen Webberley being prosecuted for running an unlicensed medical practice. At the time she and her husband, Mike Webberley, claimed it had been sold and they were now employees managing the clinic, which we now know is a lie - they just registered it abroad and continued practicing.

Mike Webberley later had his medical licence taken away for practicing beyond his level of competence. He'd tried to voluntarily give it up, which was rejected as he would be able to register elsewhere and he was such a fuck-up the licencing authority didn't want to leave him that option. Helen Webberley has recently had her licence revoked. NHS England have warned GPs not to work with private providers, specifically mentioning GenderGP, and pharmacists have been warned not to fill prescriptions from GenderGPs foreign doctors.

Even the trannies hate GenderGP. They charge their patients just to answer emails, lol.
