"Hi, I was called and directed here, something about checking up on my mastercard?"

My favourite scam is those folk who read out reddit posts on YouTube, badly, and expect you to give them money.

Really though, no one writes about specific scam calls, you go to YouTube and hear them for real. Live sometimes. With virtual machine fun if the YouTuber knows their business.

Some idiots called me and asked if my name was Generic last name, I said no, and they then asked if I knew anyone called Generic last name? Fuck off, as if I would tell them my name and hand over my bank details. The caller also had a strange accent.
