Richard Seese has decided the best thing to do for the month before he's homeless is spend all his time working for a camper with a hole in the roof, instead of getting a real job and renting a house in Searcy for $400 (I looked it up on Craigslist - it was a two bedroom 900 square foot house). I guess they're just going to duct tape some cardboard over the hole and hope it doesn't rain, in a state where after noon flash thunderstorms are common.

What amazes me about Amanda is that she just does nothing. She just goes along with whatever retarded shit Richard comes up with. If he were my husband and he turned down that job, I'd have busted his balls. She hasn't said anything about moving into a destroyed camper... I don't know if she doesn't care, or if she's just been brow beaten into the point of complaining. She can't even try and get on disability properly. She applied once, was turned down, and didn't bother to reapply or contact a disability lawyer. She's so passive, and Richard is so controlling it really makes a match made in hell. I don't doubt for a second he wouldn't go ape shit if she complained.

She's awfully young for a fibromyalgia diagnosis - the average age for diagnosis is 45. There is belief that fibromyalgia is a garbage diagnosis given to mainly woman who complain of consistent pain and exhaustion with no known cause and it's very hard to get disability for having fibro so bad it prevents work. There are no specific diagnostics for determining if a person has fibromyalgia and the government tends to be reluctant to reward disability for a disease whose entire diagnosis depends almost entirely on self-reported symptoms. I can't see too many disability lawyers willing to take this case - she's broke as hell, can't pay a retainer,and her case has almost no chances of being approved so that lawyer wouldn't be able to collect fees from her disability payments. I don't even think she could find a doctor to sign off that she has the condition, given her history with the medical community in her current town.

She may be passive but she's giving me "gently manipulative" vibes. This is, of course, speculative on my part, but you see a woman this young with a self-reported degenerative pain disorder who also has a history of doctor shopping for narcotic pain killers, you may be dealing with a woman who has a lot invested in being sick. Such women often have plenty of energy for things like vidya or cosplay, but they absolutely cannot hold a job because they are in too much pain to work. Richard is one of history's greatest choads but he buys into her narrative that she is sick and too delicate to do anything more than hanging around on a computer. No one will ever give Richard Seese of Arkansas a proper job because he's a lazy con man, but he doesn't ask her to get a job. He doesn't ask her to do anything much at all. She doesn't complain about him being an overbearing, arrogant dumbass and he doesn't demand she work, cook, clean, remain drug free, etc. To me they are two parasites who have reached relationship symbiosis. He gets to feel like he's her king and knight in dirty jorts even though he's a miserable troll, she gets to be lazy and drugged out. Perfect for each other.

I doubt fibro, and she's in her 20s right? The only way I know of someone that young getting osteoporosis is by being anorexic, and she doesn't look like it. I could be wrong, I'm not a doctor, but I thought that usually hit after menopause. If they're both drug addicts, and he's a control freak, I hate to say it, but she's not ugly, and she's not fat, so at some point, I have a sick feeling Richard's going to pimp her out. They're desperate for money, mostly because of his bad decisions, and he's self-absorbed enough to be able to justify that to himself.
