That's what I thought. Maybe something was done, but it hasn't been uploaded because of the weekend?

That is an interesting turn of events, if true.
Maybe since Zaid is occupied with the Trump impeachment stuff, Waid's other lawyers are trying to talk some sense into him?
But that would require Waid not being exceptional and realizing how screwed he is if this gets to trial.

If Mark Waid apologizes for the things he said were out of line. Apologizes for going overboard [and working with other people who went over board] to keep him out of publishing. Making YBZ whole on attorneys fees and maybe like 50k on top of that would prob be a bargain

i don’t think Waid has the mental structures needed to follow lawyers advise or reach a settlement. The only thing that will get him to the settlement table is a looming financial catastrophe that risks taking away his toys. Mark Waid does not apologize, ever! That’s just how he is hardwired. We all know somebody like that. Waid is just that grossly amplified past the event horizon of sanity.
 
This probably explains why Mark Waid picked Mark Zaid (aside from the ego stroke from hiring a guy with a similar name) - Zaid told Waid that he's going to be super-famous soon for taking down BAD ORANGE MAN.

You just know that Waid started stroking himself the second he heard that.
