Was that recent? Wasnt there some alleged abuse going on where he blacklisted his girlfriend from the industry?

Same now ex girlfriend but years later. Devin Greyson. Yeah the firing the black woman from her own book in the Humanoids line and replacing her with Greyson, whom he had kept blacklisted by the industry for the prior decade, was just a few months ago. Up until her sudden reappearance working for a Waid again she had not been seen or heard from in years. It really is strange enough to make you wonder what is going on there? Perhaps Waid throwing her some work in an effort to forestall anybody talking to her and getting her stories of relationship and workplace abuse at the hands of the protector of all women?

New doc, very short.

That or he gets turned on by the comic she wrote where Nightwing gets raped and wanted her to recreate that with him.

It's almost like the judge should just make a ruling and let appeals deal with this shit... but meh. I'm but a wee layperson.

In federal court, judges' dockets are so full that they farm out routine pretrial motions like challenging jurisdiction to magistrate judges. It creates a lot of leeway for unscrupulous litigants to drive up the costs and fees for everyone by filing a bunch of nonsense and constantly challenging every routine motion by forcing the main judge to rule on the same shit over and over.

Looks like "superlawyer" Mark Zaid has a new gig, latching onto the impeachment brouhaha:
(scroll to the end)

I'm betting we won't see too much more from him on the comics case.

He was there for shock value alone to intimidate RCM that's it. he did absolutely nothing on the case, nothing on the filing, none of the work but blow up twitter. All of this so far has been handled by local consul as it should be.

He was a fucking joke and he intimidated nobody. Everything he did was the action of a laughable clown. His lawyering is fat and I would not retain him to fight a parking ticket.

BUBUBUBUBUBU HE SUED THE GOVTZ!!!11!! He is POWERFUL UwU!

Twitter law got obliterated when defending Xaid by the common person looking shit up on their own. Something Xaid in all forms fails to do.

He also snitched out his own client to the feds. I have no idea why anyone being called a "whistleblower" would trust this snake in the grass with anything.

I don't know how that dipshit was ever taken seriously given out of his two big cases; one had him as a junior member that did nothing because it used British law and had bigger teams than him out there. The other? He exploited a grieving Arabian man for his money.

There's a reason I call him "Coattails" Zaid after all; he's better at selling himself than actually working the law, and he's a scum sucker not worthy of being Barred.

Apparently the client is a CIA operative, so I suppose it's theoretically possible that Zaid is part of this operation.
He's hitching his wagon to Andrew Bakaj's firm, who is another fluorescing former CIA lawyer and a hatchet man for ex-CIA John Brennan. This whole thing glows in the dark.

Sadly, as fast as this "whistleblower" gayops narrative looks to be falling apart as these snakes get more sloppy as they get more desperate, Zaid may not be as gone from this for long and might come back ratcheting up his bullshit to distract from when this blows up in their faces.

I always wondered why people think that his influence was the reason why the Libyan.gov paid for the Lockerbie bombing settlement compared to you know, Libya having uncle Sam's boot on it's throat. Do people even read history books?

That has already been rather legitimately speculated, that the Whistleblowers Lawyers are deeply involved in authoring the letter and fake claims.

It sounds like parts of the legal system could do with some major overhauls.
