No, we're pissed off that a man played a female character.

Actually, I don't really hate Brie Larson or find her ugly, but she was certainly a poor fit to play any sort of superhero.
 
I honestly can't think of any reasonable defense at this point for Zaid to use that isn't a hailmary. Waid really shot himself in the feet, knees, shoulders, hand, and face during his depo.

Have we seen anything from Zaid so far? every thing looks to be coming from the Texas firm. Your prediction that he's only there to protect Marvel looks to be correct.

They seriously should have withdrawn that and not wasted their time after the Waid perjury came out. All it did was needlessly open them up to expedited discovery.

Is he calling Captain Marvel trans? Brie isnt ugly enough to be called a man, stone/wood faced yes, but she is not mannish. You sir, are rude and quite possibly have soggy knees.

I have no idea what's going on here because I've no interest in comics but since it kept coming up I decided to click on the recent Bleeding Cool article to get a vague idea.

So JSG thinks Waid's behavior in the texts means he might have done this shit before. I didn't really consider that, that would be very interesting if that's true. Waid is probably just a panicky dummy, but I like the idea of him being a even bigger scumbag then we thought

Id be more shocked if Waid HADN’T done shit like this before. This kinda behavior is par for the course in comics but because it’s so small, it’s never gotten regulatory oversight. And because everyone always wanted to be in comics so much (either because they love the medium or as a stepping stone to Hollywood) that they’ve been too terrified to rock the boat & didn’t want to be the “guy that sued to get into an industry”. Until YaBoi.
 
Mark S Zaid is really pushing the "I'm not a 'tard, merely pretending to be exceptional" narrative. It's almost like he's merely there to protect the interests of Herr Mouse, instead of tard wrangling, the man-baby.

Ah yes the left's penchant for totally redefining words and phrases when it suits them to becoming basically meaningless. Unfortunately as far as the ordinary man on the street is concerned these words still have their narrow definition.

I can't go around telling everyone "x is a rapist" then when sued say "well some people consider any intercourse between a man and a woman rape, and they've had sex so I'm right by that definition".

So he's going to make Marvel and DC
and other comic publishers make actually good comics that have broad appeal, don't actively antagonize their fanbase and respect the histories of the characters as they make new ones?
