How have we not discussed this beautiful specimen before he serendipitously wandered into CG-Land to whiteknight Mark Waid?

Sometimes we find the lolcow, sometimes the lolcow finds us.

At least he gets paid for his autism. Many cows would love to have the same privilege. :sigh:

Im sure autists havent murdered many people. On purpose anyway.
You forgot that people were murdered in cold blood over some sperg losing a Madden game less than 2 months ago.

Never forget the crimes of autism. (:_(

It might just the signal interference from him being a lawyer. Aren't they supposed to mercenary, at least w/r/t representing their clients' wishes?

To a certain extent, but lawyers are allowed to say no when presented with a case. There are the occasional weird ones, but your reputation is built on the type of cases you routinely take and it seems to me Zaid has an "interesting" reputation.

An interesting reputation which he has gone to lengths to obfuscate... Until he lost it over a comparatively minor, but heavily followed case.

Honestly, I think it's kind of stupid for all these people to be posting all the problems with his case directly at him on twitter where they know he'll see it. Let him think he's got this in the bag right up until the moment he gets blown the fuck out in court, then mock him off the internet. That would be way funnier.

Also, Wegmans deserves so much better than Zaid's endorsement, I feel so bad for them.

I'm :late: but I didn't see anyone else reply to this.

I agree about it being stupid and harming both Mayer's chances and reducing the amount of lols. Unless you need to log in to see this thread, even us talking here is doing that. As the saying goes "Never interrupt the enemy when he's making a mistake.". But at the same time, these guys are so deluded, so full of themselves, so certain that their cause is just that it really doesn't matter. It's been something like 6 years since the SJW infestation got to the point where people started resisting it, and nothing has managed to shake these SJWs from their delusions. GamerGate, Sad Puppies, Ghostbusters, Brexit, Trump, non of it made a dent. It's Okay To Be White and okay = white power were obvious bait, and they were told it was bait, and they bit anyway.

I don't know for sure, but at some point someone, somewhere, must have pulled Waid aside and said "Listen, this case is open and shut. The best thing for you, your cause, and your career is to settle and keep this as quiet as possible.". If someone did say that to him, Waid would've thought about it, nodded in agreement, and then post on twitter how he's going to take that kkkomicsgate down in court. He probably already has the champagne on ice for his victory party.

I wouldn't bet on that. Look at the idiots like Jamal Igle, legal beagle of anti-CG. He's not even particularly stupid as that lot goes, and so far as I can tell, everyone in Waid's camp thinks he's marching gloriously on a path to inevitable victory, even though his own lawyer doesn't think that and is desperately trying to get this case out of the court it's in.

It would be considered a shameful display even if it were allowed.
Then what exactly would you call the events leading to this case then?

Zaid's been racking up those billable hours again. Here he shills and retweets for his clients gofundme, retweets renfamous, says he wants to go after Ya Boi for Fraud (enjoy getting billed for that too Waid). Oh, and says he'll go anywhere in the US to fight this court case, well that's a good thing because he's going to end up in Texas once his motion fails. Polygon updated their article too informing people Waid met his goal in a week, no mention of Zack's beating it in a day and a half.

Just wondering, how early into online college do they teach aspiring SUPER LAWYERS how Discovery works?

On Twitter and other forums the froth from presumptuous masturbation for Waid's inevitable victory is ankle deep. These delusional retards are convinced Zack will be forced to walk the streets in chains, indebted to repay Waid and the court until the end of days.

I'm tempted to ask the hypothetical "what if Waid loses?" but I'm not going to burn sockpuppets for that.

Good thing there's a lawyer around who specializes in indulging lost causes for clients with an axe to grind and cash to burn, eh?
That really does seem to be the common thread in his high-profile cases.
