Lmao, I don't know shit about legal business, but even I know, that you can't just demand "KKKomixGater communications" when your the one being sued. It so off topic of Wade's shitty actions on top of that.
You also can't look into who the kickstarters/crowdfunders are, because again, its completely irrelevant to Wade's nonsense.

Why does anyone think Meyer’s “Comicsgate Communication” will in any way be discoverable? The only relevant communications of Meyer’s will be communications to establish the contract with Antarctic Press was in force, and that it was cancelled by AP. Also possibly any direct communucations between Meyer and Waid. The lawsuit is Tortious Interference. It’s simple facts case involving was there a contract, did the defendant act to interfere with it? There is no “but he’s a NAZI!!!!” Defense. Nor can you go on a fishing expedition through the Plaintiff’s personal stuff seeking to prove Nazi Party Membership.

10,287 backers with perks totaling to $352,375, then there are donations without any perks from 353 people totaling to $47,059. And the number keeps increasing surprisingly. The lawsuit must have renewed interest in the project because it's still selling:

This isn't mainly an Internet court action. Waid's actions would have constituted tortious interference over the phone or by mail. This isn't a suit over hurt feelings.

The penalty phase of this case is going to be the interesting part. The statute allows for punitive damages where appropriate and I can just imagine a bunch of elderly Texans listening as Waid's rants are read out in open court. Given that Waid is an influential person in the comics industry I wonder if any of the twitter spergs will find themselves quoted as examples of people Waid convinced to blacklist Meyer, his support network could turn into a liability /
. You would think that this action would be a clue to them to turn down the rhetoric but, they just will not learn. One thing I'm left wondering about is Ike Perlmutter. He is the head of marvel comics and a major Trump supporter. But, his company is filled with people who see Trump as Hitler. How do these clowns justify working for a man who was on Trumps inauguration committee? How does Perlmutter justify keeping these anti-consumer radicals on the payroll? If I cared about money I would just hire the most marketable people I could and screw politics. Given how well Marvel Studios is doing seeing the state of Marvel Comics is just bizarre. Give Meyer a six issue run and then drop him once his 15 minutes are up, nobody important will care.

I was hearing somewhere (can't remember where, think it was Tim Poole) that many of these media companies are run by Ayn Rand level libertarians who don't give a shit. They just want the money, and had convinced themselves the consumers of their product (all those millenials etc) were hard core liberals that were all into this shit. While they politically disagree with everything spewing out of their companies, they are more then happy to sell their beliefs for money because that at the end of the day is what they are interested in.
Problem is they have badly misread the market. Its a case of squeaking wheel getting the grease. The far left outrage machine and the hollywood bubble convinced media owners that this was the reality everywhere in the country.
