Those things happened when his channel was still making a lot of money so there was no reason to be that stingy. I have no idea what he even spends money on besides weed drinks. He still lives with his parents that look after the daughter so no nanny fees and I'm not sure if he pays them rent.

To my knowledge Richard accidently blinded her daughter with antibiotics, which was prescribed by a doctor for her eye infection. He still blames himself to this day and this might have a HUGE effect on his overall decline. Also should be noted that he was a huge jerk before the accident, and now he often uses his daughter's sickness for pity bucks and shield against criticism.
