I like Ada. Idgaf. Shes hot. Would play entire game of her tbh.

I'm still mad they replaced Sandy from SpongeBob as Ashley. She made her super irritating but that is the entire point. Also I'm still mad Lady Dimitrescu didn't get story dlc.

These are oddly charming, even considering how old these videos are.
I always liked this one in the children's comic book style and I know I've posted it before.

I thought we were past this. It sucks end of story.
No dude you see it's the truest survival horror experience because I run out of bullets all the fucking time, and I'm an easily entertained child who gets wowed by big booms and press x to awesome moments in my videogames!

So, you don't like RE3 is what I'm seeing.

Maybe the series just isn't for you.

I liked it. Cope, seethe, and possibly, even dilate.

They cut corners with RE2 remake. They diced RE3 into nothing.
I am still confused why they would cut so much. 3 was already a short game did the dev team have a competition to see who could cut the most shit with out making the story nonsense?

It's difficult to even guess what the deal with that was. If you search, there's multiple articles saying they put 3 years into it. Yeah, no. That's overlap with RE2. I wage they put maybe a year into it when the engine was just reused from RE2. All they did was build some new setpieces, modded zombies to make them look slightly different but not really, add a few new monsters and program it.

RE3 Nemesis was developed under a year and it's a rock solid main line title. It is shorter than RE2 but it was designed to be harder. That's why it's so RNG heavy, and they give you the live selections to add endless replayability.

The remake on the other hand just reeks of it being rushed. The cutscene where Carlos shows up definitely hints that she was going to the RPD, and then it cuts to the subway for some reason. I tend to think there was going to be an uptown map before that, but it was skipped over.

Between uptown being cut, downtown being reworked but very boring, Drain Deimos being reimagined shittier than before and smaller, no Brain Suckers (I know they're very similar to DM, but don't fucking cut it) Nemesis type 2 and 3 FUBAR, no Clock Tower, No Park, No Gravedigger, no Dead Factory, NEST 2 LOL and no Mercs. Why even bother? Why cut content from a game that was already rushed? On top of all that, I hated Jill in it. Her personality was so alien to how she's been the whole series. She was always headstrong, assertive, but kind. This one looks more butch, and she's just a cunt most of the game. She yells SUCK IT to Dogesis and I could just feel the SJW producers patting themselves on the back for that one. I also hated how little Nemesis is in the game. He's really based around boss fights for the most part that lock you in through a cutscene, where as the original you can just run from him. You cannot just down him to rid him of an area and there's really only one stalking segment in the entire game when there's nearly 10 or so in the original. Player choices don't have any affect to outcomes with him, and that's his biggest problem. He's too much built on rails for him to be any fun.

For everything wrong with it. I liked Carlos in it. I thought he was objectively better besides his dumpster juice hair and looks way better with the classic look. I liked that Tyrell was supporting cast that stuck around awhile. The Hospital is way better too, but it's obvious lab entrance elevator is completely retarded. That was something I liked about RE3 original. There's no lab. The Dead Factory was the disposal facility of test subjects in the outskirts of the city. NEST2 doesn't make any sense how there's seemingly an identical RE2 lab style shaft under the hospital that connects to some skyscraper where the helicopter to escape is. The geography of that is still confusing.

I agree with literally every single one of your points except for the whole "fucking SJW producers" business because that just reads like a biased misattribution, given how the game was handled by at least 3 different Japanese producers and Peter Fabiano, the latter of whom has a very extensive production and localization resume with Capcom dating as far back as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

The character rewrites were probably just really boneheaded decisions hoping to appeal to Western sensibilities, and we've seen multiple times before how Capcom just tends to shit the bed when they decide they're going to try make a Western game for Westerners instead of just... Making a video game that anybody and everybody can enjoy.

Not unless you can drop on me sufficient examples showing that Fabiano chugs SJW Kool-Aid in the [current year].

(I will note the caveat that he's currently a Production Development Director at Bungie and, considering the state of Destiny 2... Yeah. I have my doubts he's entirely responsible for nu-Bungie's issues, though, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.)

Easy fix for brain sucker. Make it a further mutated Drain Deimos that just outright way bigger then the normal ones you see crawling about, and have it be the boss of the power plant. I am sure it wouldn't be too happy if miss "Enjoy That" was going around invading the nest it calls home and trying to destroy it.

I'd argue the good kind, especially considering how successful RE7 as a whole was, but mileage may, evidently, vary.
Groovy!

(And to anyone with a mind to complain, fuck off, that chainsaw sword fight in a torture basement was awesome. RE7 was definitely angling for a bit of Evil Dead and it nailed it there.)
I don't know how you faggots can seriously say RE8 is too stupid and silly while genuinely arguing that boulder punch is believable or that RE6 is a good game. Fucking unreal.
The go-kart fight with Heisenberg was more than a little over the top but hey, fuck it. Unlike RE6 it was fun.

I'm glad somebody else said it finally, because how the hell are you going to praise RE6 but claim that the mecha go-kart fight with Heisenberg was "too ridiculous"?

The motherfucker straight up references RE5 calling Chris a "boulder-punching asshole". How is that not the exact same sort of "hammy" that you'd praise the previous trilogy of games for? (Among several other examples in Village at that.)

The issue with RE6 isn't that its hammy or campy but that it somehow expects to be taken seriously despite the fact that Neo-Umbrella appeared out of thin air with a working carrier and a gigantic underwater base complete with horrific super-monster. There is no ham or camp, in other words, whereas with RE7 and RE8 you feel like you're going through an old B-movie that tries to have fun with itself.

The issue with RE6 is that it's pretty much the equivalent of a summer blockbuster action film, which, yes, contributes to the fact that it tries to take itself too seriously despite the egregious degree of insane shit that happens throughout the course of every campaign.

Now, I DO happen to enjoy RE6 despite all of this because I happen to find the gameplay pretty fun at baseline, and the base gameplay is exemplified fairly decently when you have it in its concentrated sandbox (i.e., The Mercenaries), but, when put in the context of the game as a whole?

Yeah, there's way too many dumb, and downright annoying in some cases, roadblocks throughout the campaign that hampers the gameplay. All the little gimmick segments, like the on-rails and vehicle segments, really drag RE6 down in spots. And I say this as someone who has extensively played and replayed the game in co-op with friends over the years who have just as much, if not more, playtime with the game as I do. It's good for maybe the occasional "go back and do another playthrough with a buddy" experience, especially if you happen to be subjecting someone else to the game for the very first time, but, once you run the gamut, there's not much reason to go back to it for a long while.

RE6 taking itself too seriously makes it more funny. The story starts out okay and then devolves into so bad it's good kind of thing.

There a joy to the pure spectacle that is simmons just fucking turns into a T rex and then chasing you around as a nameless NPC soldier drives a car around a tiny ass boss arena.
It pretty much what people think of resident evil when they have never played, or seen resident evil outside of the final boss fights. Or if they have only ever watched those awful Paul Anderson movies.

For me I just really like the gameplay. There just something about how it feels right to me when I am not in one of the many many many MANY QTE cut scenes.

It's the kind of game you get a friend over and smoke a bunch of weed or get drunk with while playing.
