All of these look a hell of a lot better put together than I thought they would
I thought all of the different styles might clash together but it actually looks neat as fuck

We truly have some great artists. I think the new background is a bit more personal and fitting for the identity the website has become over the years. This is something the community made, which makes it feel more like it belongs to everyone.
 
I did keep one page of the original background btw

I picked this one because I remember in one of the videos he points out the first kiss scene and mentions that he did "a pretty frickin good job if I do say so myself" or something like that.
 
I wish mine made it in to the grid but a lot of people seemed to like it so I'm happy.

A buddy thinks it makes for a good exploitable template so I took all the text out if anyone wants that.

I really like the new background! Just noticed it, good job to everyone who contributed
 
The only issue I have with the new background is that the page size is inconsistent, since every artist used their own proportions. But considering the scale of the background it should be rather easy to correct it with the current pages without making them look too off from the original. Perhaps making the height equal and then centering every page to mitigate width irregularities would be the best.
 
Hey, thanks for using mine! It was a nice surprise to sign on today to see my little Terry poking from the side. Whole thing looks really cool, everyone did a great job.
 
Looks like I missed another chance to do something, Couldn't settle on what exactly I wanted to try and make, but I know I didn't want to just draw a bunch of fat people, anything too referential to the site itself, or anything bordering on lame-ass political comic. Unrelated stress inducing shit and my shitty sleep schedule also probably had a hand in things not getting finished, but yeah, great job everyone. Maybe I'll get that stupid fucking image finished someday for dumb personal reasons who knows.

I know I had a great time scrolling through this thread and reading everyone comics regardless of their quality and even if its not for the site background I'm sure it'd give everyone a good ol' giggle if you did

This was so much fun, it's been hilarious seeing the submissions come in and always nice seeing how many talented people are on the farms! Thanks for all the work you do keeping this place rolling along, hopefully these were a bit of entertainment in all the shit you've had to deal with this past month.
 
Is there any way to just see the background? It looks pretty cool but there is a wall of meaningless shitposts in front of it.
 
I am beyond livid with myself.

Was planning to make an image even if it didn't make it to the ones selected, but somehow I didn't find the time to finish it and other things got in the way. I thought I was still good because there was no pressure with a deadline.

Maybe I'll post my failure when I do finish it.
