Redesigning Floraverse - Because PK is a fucking idiot

Sounds like a great idea. I'll post some redesigns soon, now that I know this thread exists.

Unrelated, I got some really interesting impressions from Beleth's trippy dreams during the Itchy Itchy arc, due in no small part to reading up through Try, Try Again without touching materials like character and species sheets: I thought that Beleth was Jupet's mother, and she'd lost Jupet to a cult some time ago. I was really interested to see how Beleth went from a mother to the petulant, child-like character he displayed--only to find out that I had things way, way wrong. I'd love to write that sort of tragic backstory into a character at some point, but it would have to be a wildly different character from Beleth as he appears in Flora.
 
I think the Luneko is the only design by PK that I find ridiculously cute (unless she stole the design from someone else), so I drew this:

It was supposed to be a Siamese but I forgot the face markings (looks better without it anyways)
 
Since Flora is like buffet pickings from other, better content when it comes to its ideas for plot and characters, it wouldn't be out of the question for us to take what we like from it for ourselves, too.

I would rather do that than "salvage" it since :powerlevel: drawing Flora shit would be bad for some of our careers. :powerlevel: But it's safe once you redesign your pickings as your own.

Can't you losers just get inspired and make your own art like everyone else? Let Floraverse go already, it was never that amazing. Just because some pedo can draw fluffy cats with crazy markings and the occasional eccentric body part/design doesn't mean you can't do the same.

it's not about making new stuff. a lot of us have already done that
this is about ripping apart everything glip made to make it better

So what? Your art can be looked at merely as a floraverse remake dipped in spite? Is that really better than the original product?

Nothing to do with morals whatsoever lol, I just think that the artists here could put their skills and time to better use, though obviously you guys can do whatever they want. Have fun anyways

not gonna lie, there are a few characters that could've been done justice (most of which stolen or lazily done) but will I steal them? no. ...borrow design choices from? Maybe.

and when I do, I'm ripping away the fetishes they have.
 
Has anyone claimed Beleth?

I want to save that poor sex doll and turn him back into a regular asexual puppet with no sex advice blog and no history of having met Orobas and Amdusias. He deserved better than to suddenly want sex because PK got horny.

Lunekos are just rehashed space cats, tbh, so they're not super 100% original. The overall concept is worth using and/or keeping however.

Hella adobs, btw. Almost looks like FF concept art.
