I help swab the poopdeck of a small subreddit about proper aquatic husbandry (yeah I know I'm autistic). Terminally online redditors have this weird superiority complex about the social media of their choosing, despite 70% (generous estimate) of the site being screencaps of Tiktok videos and twitter/facebook/instagram posts.

They've already betrayed the supposed free-speech principles they touted just a couple of days ago, so there's little reason not to suppress all dissenters at this point.

Was there any info about why reddit didn't ban the sub right away? From everything I know about reddit and the people running it, it seems like not only would they've of done it on their own accord, but they also would've gloated about it as well.

What's truly terrible about leddit is that it's not a containment site, like tumblr was. Tumblrites would stay seething in their cave, redditors spread their website's fetid "culture" across the entire internet. Every comment section on yt or other websites is full of reddit's shitty "humor".

At this point my only reddit usage is the NFL subreddit (because the NFL thread here moves at a glacial pace, as much as I love it), and the "shit on my local city for being trash" subreddit.

Reddit has to be the shittiest platform of all anyways compared to the other "big social media sites". It has shit users, autistic overall voting system and moderation in general.

Also compared to twitter and facebook and others the site sometimes won't load which is embarrassing at this point in time and its status of being a big social media site since its users arent worth anything. It's a loser website that has no worth almost all of the time.

It's the old person's social media of choice. To them, it's not a "cool" social media website, so the only people who use it are despicable rightoids and boomers.
