To be fair, that's not exclusively a Reddit thing - Catholics (and Orthodox Christians, as far as I know) basically believe that you can be attracted to people of the same sex but that you shouldn't act on those urges.

Leddit religion is basically the "let people enjoy things" soyjak, but painted on an altar panel. Standards of good and bad behavior or any sense of ethics beyond lizard brain hedonism are just too restrictive for these people.

The liberal denominations are, but places like /r/2MiddleEast4You have a lot of conservatives. The demographics of Reddit lean heavily against traditionalism since people who follow more conservative strains of Christianity in the USA are mostly old evangelical boomers who quit the site when the_donald was banned from it.

Weed fucking sucks, I'd rather take LSD every single time. Plus weed turns you into a "dude, weed!!" zombie every time. The amount of people I've known who have fucked up there life trajectory just smoking weed is way more than any other drug. Redditcels will downvote this post.

Stop smoking up behind the 7/11 with high schoolers. Or maybe if your not doing that, get better friends.

Then again, I only dabbled when I was young, didn't really become a heavy smoker til I was about 30. And I started smoking with the kind of people who pay cash for their toys (boats, dirtbikes, off road stuff, and one ultralight aircraft) and have no debts, so your result may vary.

The best part about this for me is that somehow it squeezed gallons of catlady tears out of the reddit populace despite being a photograph of a computer screen. This is the lowest-effort possible content you could make, which normally wouldn't even get promoted because the quality is so terrible. Redditors are forcing themselves to view this to make themselves upset.
