According to them they make 15K A MONTH which is 180K a year, far above minimum. If you're making 6 digits, how the fuck are they so incompetent that they can't even afford a shitty house or a place to rent. Probably the drugs an other insanity that they put out.

They cant get an apartment because their credit score is 550. It doesnt get worse than that. No bank will give a loan or mortgage with that. Renting in Spokane is like applying for a job. Because of tenants trashing apartments and the abundance of junkies, landlords and rental companies ask for recommendations. They want to know the last few places you rented, and they absolutely will call to confirm you didnt act like a retard i the past. An eviction on your record is game over to everyone but the worst slumlords, and like he said they're "picky". So they live in an AIDS infested, "pay by the week" hotel, which are also abdundant because of said junkies.

They claim it's because of student loans, which means they must be pulling an Ethan Ralph and simply not paying. Why they wouldnt pay the bare minimum while making $180k combined is beyond me.

His wife must be the breadwinner. How else does this sperg have the time to cruise the town and harrass local business owners?

Hi, today is a sad day.
Both r/animepiracy administrators, /u/Snaacky and /u/RubyNero, were raided by federal authorities and the piracy.moe domain got seized. As of right now, we don't have any information about their status and how will it end. We will inform you all of the updates of this case as we learn more information. We are currently looking into acquiring new hosting and a new domain for the index because it's unlikely that we'll ever get our old one back again. All please bear with us till we sort the problems!

Small update: We have figured what kind of stuff they were able to seize: they successfully seized their accounts, domains, seedboxes, as well as presumably all of their hardware at home. According to public records, both are still in jail at the time of writing.

Might aswel say they got support from the Kazakhstani cyber police or the Botswanan internet agency. A seized domain obviously wouldn't say who seized it lol, it'd just go offline.

Not even close. Do you have a single parent or live in an urban environment by any chance? If you had bullied a teacher where I grew up your dad would have beat the shit out of you. All the teachers were decent people and even the fat one people would joke about was never targeted to upset her in any way. Actively trying to upset a teacher would of been an immediate suspension from the school, a report home and then an ass kicking for any child.

My parents would definitely kick my ass on the few occasions I did something so reprehensible it got back to them but for some reason I was always popular with the principal, so I'd get sent to the principal who let me get away with absolute murder.

As a young, idealistic woman (typical teacher profile) they start, believing that they can be the cool teacher who reaches out to those misunderstood kids like in all their favorite movies and shows and books but the truth is that they are horribly out of touch and the problem kids just want them to shut up so they can go back to doing delinquent shit. It's problem with at least three causes that I can recognize:

I know someone who started out like this and eventually burned out after five years in an inner city school filled with troubled youths. Anyone who can do that shit and not end up losing their minds or turning into a hardened racist is sort of a saint. She never lost her idealism but she certainly got a lot sterner, and actually left because the fucking school itself wouldn't let her do her job, i.e. actually teaching and insisting on grading for reals and not feels.

Most of her students were lost causes but she definitely got some kids who were headed to prison to college instead. Good teachers are worth their weight in gold but sadly, we have a system that incentivizes shitty teachers and actively punishes good ones.

I've never understood the No-Child-Left-Behind thing, because it assumes that all students are willing and able to better themselves. And far more often than not, they're able to but they're also just a lazy cunt who couldn't care less about school. Worst example I ever saw was a student who brought down the average grade of his class by 30%, and it took another kid picking a fight with him and kicking his ass so hard he left the school to solve the issue. Because the teachers literally weren't allowed to discipline him or even just remove him from the class.

School consists of three pillars: The Student, The Teacher, and the Parents of the student. If one pillar fails, the structure collapses.
If the Student does not want to learn, the student will remain ignorant. The Teacher and Parents fail.
If the Teacher does not want to share their knowledge, the student remains ignorant. The Student and Parents fail.
If the Parents does not support the Student, the Student will fall into sloth; or earn significantly lower grades compared to their peers. The Teacher and Student fail.

latinos in general do respect their teachers to a degree. you can find people disrespecting teachers in every part of the world but in general it's hard to see a teacher being straight up mocked from where i live in me country, of course in other states far down south in my country people often pick cases of private school teachers being bullied and blow it out of proportions though, usually usual when one bullies a teacher here some classmates often have a "post school talk" with the nigger and they stop...

The utility for the person mining is greater than the cost of mining. The utility may be, and likely is, less than the total cost.
That's the nature of externalized costs. The real costs are paid by someone else. Often the costs are only suffered in the future, and are distributed widely so as to be unnoticeable to the individual.
That's the case with bitcoin. The miner pays only money for equipment and electricity. Same thing with gold. The end user of gold pays only money. But for both the cost to the environment is paid by everyone and is paid in blood.
And don't get me wrong, this isn't sufficient reason to abandon bitcoin entirely right now. But it is reason we should be working towards alternatives that aren't as costly.
