It's the fact I used to work retail pre-covid that makes it so funny. I know customer service sucks shit, and thats without having to suck anyone off. So when I see sex workers saying shit like "normalise sexwork" or "sex work is real work" I honestly lose sympathy for them, because imo, at that point you are just trying to make everyone as miserable as you. I just cant see them as normal, well adjusted people. Sure I may be biased and dismiss any claims against this, but no one grows up dreaming of being fucked in the ass by old men. Everyone had a view of sex as a special thing, that you only lose later on through desensitization, you can put that down to culture if you want, but given how sex is tied to reproduction and it does produce lots of hormones, I do think it has strong underlying, biological effects.
